I like this one better than 16th stairs. Little harder to see entire project and parking is a bit weird. But stop at both installments. This one is animal Oriented and you need to step back to see snake, peacock and other animals. Parking at top is almost impossible. Drop of passengers at top drive down to bottom of stairs n meet up.

Great stairwell to climb for some exercise. At the top of if you look due North you will see glimpses of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands. I found this a great starting point while navigating to the top of the 16th Ave tiled steps.

If you walk up and down these steps you'll appreciate the trees and the view... but if you've been to either of the nearby tiled steps before this, you'll be spoiled and think "steps and shade, whoopee."

This steps give you a good view of San Francisco, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge if there is no fog. But for the steps it self I like the "Hidden Garden Steps" here on Google Maps 15th Ave Steps (just a touch west of this steps) better. They have some beautiful tiles on them, which makes it really intersting to watch. If you around here check out the Moraga Steps south of this once, which lead you up to...

Went up an alternative route to urban hike up turtle hill-the stairs were a great short cut and had pretty good views. There was a guy doing Tai chi halfway up..what. Great location! I love finding these stairs tucked between houses... It's like exploring a new frontier. You never know what you'll find over the next...
