This is our family’s favorite local soft serve location. It’s pricey (pay by weight), but their flavors are great and we love how they rotate (please never get rid of chocolate/vanilla swirl, though - that it a staple for our kids). I don’t recommend trying to cut calories and get the low-fat/calorie option. Splurge calorie-wise to get the full fat options and you won’t be disappointed.
A note about trying to keep little hands clean to eat: We always have our kids clean their hands before they eat (regardless of the pandemic). This location used to offer hand sanitizer at the front of the store. Not only have they taken this away (so, presumably, no one is cleaning their hands before they use the serving handles), but when we’ve asked for a pump of sanitizer (within view at the cash register) after our kids use their soft serve handles, we have been told that their sanitizer is only for employees. For a business that requires customers to be touching shared equipment right before they eat, a pump of hand sanitizer would be much appreciated. They do have a restroom where you can go in and wash your hands. But when you have three kids and have multiple cones full of ice cream, that isn’t really feasible. We come here enough that I know to bring my own bottle of sanitizer with me, but this business obviously has a lot of tiny customers… I’m sure many other parents would appreciate the small...
Read moreTo disclaimer- I have a mega sweet tooth and take down desserts like it's my job. So when my friend brought me to Easy Breezy Frozen Yogurt, I bypassed everything on the menu and went to the Macaroon Ice Cream Sandwiches. How could something that fuses two incredible desserts into one not be good. I had a few bites of the mint chocolate one and devoured the pumpkin one. They were delicious, especially the pumpkin. The sandwiches are huge by the way! If you have a small appetite or a weaker sweet tooth, you could probably split one with a friend. I was hoping to to try the Thai Tea one, but they were out. Oh yes, I will be back. for more ice cream treats here.... And perhaps I will try one of their hearty looking burgers too (I saw some at the table next to me and they looked...
Read moreCaveat emptor: Small store, huge price tag. This cute little yogurt shop is a convenient stop after a day in Golden Gate Park. For a small shop, it’s got a good variety of flavors and tasty toppings. I recalled from our first visit that it was expensive. That didn’t prevent the sticker shock when I went yesterday. They charge by weight. Two people, one regular/small and one medium size yogurt. Both with toppings. Cost? $24. They post the price, which was under a dollar, for what must have been an ounce. But unless you’re a pro frozen yogurt shopper, there’s no way of translating what comes out of the machine into $$. And, of course, you don’t get the final price until toppings are on and mixed with the yogurt, so there’s no recourse but to pay up. Not making that...
