I've driven up to and passed on this place more than once. I look inside, it's kinda dismal, very basic. But that's where the average ends. Last night there was one person working, most likely the owner, and he was handing 3-5 tables at any given point and making the food. The food was exceptional. We had the buffalo wings to start which were plump and flavorful (and served with fries). We moved on to our main courses: I had the Fried Chicken Plate (note: there is a warning that this dish takes 18 minutes to prepare) and I was appreciative of that because how many places do you go to where food takes forever and they don't tell you. I was happy to wait and I wasn't disappointed at all. Their mashed potatoes are REAL and the green beans were perfectly cooked and were also delicious. I tasted my husband's meatloaf and that too was delicious.
So if you're a little bit like me and you're hesitant because it's not a fancy restaurant, fear not. The food is delicious, presented beautifully and well worth coming out for.
I also liked that we could pay via our cell phones, using apple pay! Some places let you pay with a cell phone but then make you type the card in, so I really liked that too. We will...
Read moreI must say I come this place 4 or 5 times a month, like once a week pase. that how much I love this cozy place. this place isn't that big, maybe about 50 seats. it's really good but they never super busy, I mean I haven't waited to be seated at all. I always go for grilled asparagus and spring onions, which the source is little spicy but that's the best part! sweet potato tater tots, when it's really hot, it's really good! and grilled salmon, I usually don't like mushroom but ones comes with salmon is absolutely tasty and delicious. I will go back there next week for sure or even sooner. oh and servers there, I think they are family? are all attentive and friendly. you will be happy and satisfied all food you eat, all money you spend that I strongly recommend this place. absolutely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (added on 6/17/18)

Read moreI took advantage of my friend visiting from Japan to try out restaurants I've had bookmarked for awhile. One I've been wanting to dine in for a long time is Eat Americana.
The menu is standard Californian cuisine. And they do it well.
I ordered the chilaquiles, that came with pulled pork and a sunny-side egg. The pulled pork was delicious, and I loved it in the tomatillo salsa. Chilaquiles is my favorite breakfast dish, and I'm particular about how it's made. Eat Americana checked off everything I look for: crispiness of the chips, flavor, salsa type and egg. The pulled pork gave it bonus points. We also ordered the sweet potato tater tots, and they are addicting! I'm amazed we didn't finish it, and I inhaled it later in the evening.
The space is a mom-and-pop diner with good service and great food. I need to come back here soon to try more of their breakfast menu, which is...
