Fiore Cafe is a hidden treasure that instantly transports you to the charming streets of Rome, where every bite feels like it's crafted by a Nonna herself.

Read moreWe live—literally—less than 200 feet from Fiore. It's a neighborhood gem. By day, it's a cafe with great coffee, scrumptious pastries, and a nice selection of sandwiches and salads. At night, it turns into a full-service restaurant where pasta is the star. My favorite dish, hands-down, is the Linguine alle Vongole—tender clams and tomatoes in a spicy white wine sauce. I always say I'm going to order something different but end up going back this dish time and time again. (Although I did once order the Penne alle Melanzane, and it was excellent.) My partner's favorite is the Papardelle al Salmone—handmade pappardelle with smoked salmon, prawns and zucchini in a light cream sauce. It's smoky, decadent, and delicious. Speaking of decadent, the Mozzarella in Carrozza (basically Italian grilled cheese) is over the top and worth the calories. On the lighter side, the Melanzane Grigliate—grilled eggplant with cherry tomatoes and balsamic glaze—is delicious. For dessert, don't miss the tiramisu. I'm extremely picky about tiramisu; Fiore's is one of the best...
Read moreI can't say enough about this place. Eduardo, the owner was very gracious and accommodating. I gave a dinner party for 17 people for my wife and daughter's birthday. Eduardo helped us plan a special menu (a variation of the house menu) just for our party, which was exquisite! The red wine risotto with radicchio and smoked provola cheese was creamy and flavorful; the fettuccine al ragu was Eduardo's mother's recipe, with beef and pork stewed for 5 hours! Absolutely melted in your mouth, and the tomato sauce was rich and full of flavor! From the skewers of prawns, the pork loin, to the pan seared skirt steak, each dish was expertly prepared and sumptuous. Everyone raved over the food, and the service was outstanding. Fiore's is small, and so Eduardo lined up tables to make a long row, fitted in a section of the restaurant that made us feel like we were in the dining room of an Italian villa. Beautiful decor and lighting. My wife and daughter loved it! I highly recommend Fiore Caffe. You will not be...
