Our experience at Goodfella Pizzeria was terrible from start to finish. We arrived around 9:30 PM, placed our order by 9:37, and were told we could dine in. Instead, our food came in takeout boxes. We didn’t mind that at first, but the way we were treated was shockingly rude. The chef and staff excluding the front guy ( he was genuinely nice) made it obvious they wanted us out before 10 PM, giving us unfriendly looks and zero hospitality. It was drizzling outside, our car was parked far away, and we had a crying baby — yet they still pushed us to leave. We only got our food at 9:52 PM, so even if we stayed, we would have been gone just 10–15 minutes after closing. To make things worse, the food was not good at all. Anyone arriving between 9:00–9:30 PM should know they will rush you out, regardless of your situation. Based on our experience, their behavior also felt biased toward certain customers, which made us even more uncomfortable. Overall, poor service, mediocre food, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. We will not be returning. i threw the fettuccine in the garbage i will give 0 star if i could

A hidden gem of a NY style pizza restaurant/takeout place. Ordered the Hawaiian, not very original to pick but so glad we did. The best things were they used fresh pineapple - I'm so used to tinned pineapple chunks that don't pack the amazing punch that the one on Goodfellas pizza did. Plus the tomato sauce base tasted of tomato! Definitely quality ingredients. Plus I often get "salt hangovers" the next day from pizzas but not from this one, so another big thumbs up for not flooding it with artificial flavours or salt. The restaurant was empty (we ate in) but the staff were busy prepping many takeaway meals. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the best Hawaiian pizza I've ever had!

Was not going to review this pizzeria but felt compelled to. Pepsi wasn’t sweet, Dr. Pepper was flat. Food took 35 minutes to come out, manager said they had a problem with the oven. Ok, stuff happens. But when my slice came, halfway through I saw a 2 inch long black hair in it. Told the manager and he was apologetic. Offered to comp something for me and I said no thanks, I just want y’all to be aware. Then, on the way out an older employee had something nasty to say about me pointing that out. Luckily, my wife didn’t tell me about it until we had left. The slice I did have was pretty good. Hoping this was a one-off experience.

Its not the nicest staff in the world but who cares when they have cheap pizza that is actually really good. Most of the orders are made as you order them and oven baked in the back and you can actually see them making it.

It is a better deal and feels less processed than dominos or pizza hut. They were always good with large orders as well. It usually would take them a long time to deliver but they always brought the pizza that was ordered and it was always good. Never had an issue with them not coming through with the order.

The staff can be kind of rude and not really listen when you are in store but you get used to it after awhile. The inside of the store is actually really pleasant and you can chill and watch tv while taking your slice. You can order by the slice which i would recommend and the whole pizzas can be a bit pricey. Also the slices are huge. You can order two of them and be full no problem.

The best deal and the best item on the menu are the mozzerella sticks. Its not what you usually think of when you think of cheese sticks. Its actually a whole pizza cut into sticks. It is an incredible value for less than five dollars and it has the best mix of garlic and cheese. They provide dips and i usually get this instead of getting a pizza.

Overall this is a great pizza joint with so many in the city it is worth checking out when you are looking for a cheap meal in north beach. It is not a overpriced as the other pizza places on the wharf and you should make the trek over to enjoy...

Hoping it was gonna be as good as the movie . I usually support small businesses as such but sometimes they make it hard . I’m from the Bay Area and have always drove past this restaurant… so my significant other and I went there one night on a mini vacay . Wanted to order 2 slices of cheese pizza , they said they weren’t doin any slices ( because of course they were closing in a hour .) which is something I hate when restaurants do . If I’m here paying money I’d like what I ask for . Next day tried to give another chance, ordered slices of pizza and they agreed to make em . Next I tried was about to ask a question on their pasta . They said they aren’t doing pasta , remind you this is the only reason I wanted to try them . FOR THE PASTA . But hey whatever . So I moved on and asked the guy if their cheesy garlic bread had a lot of minced garlic on it . He said no . I asked if he was sure because I don’t like too much garlic . He assured me that it came with light garlic . Later , got our food … pizza was burnt and lacked flavor , not only that … but their garlic bread had soooo much garlic on it ! I asked for a refund on the bread and was told they don’t do refunds . Did not compensate in any way . Little tip , I’ve worked in the food industry for years , one thing for sure you want to always make sure your customers are satisfied and keep them coming . Only thing good was the canned...

Regarding the review from Santiago Hernandez Morales, this guy was a sketchy individual. He was obviously a tour guide for a group of 5-6 people. Came into the pizza shop and had dinner with the group. So this guy leaves his hand bag of exactly $3000 when he was trying to pull money from the ATM before ordering. And the hand bag contained all the the groups passports. Plus other important documents. A hand bag that straps over your shoulder like a back pack. Come on man. We kept it for him and left notes on the window for him. Because we were closed for the holiday. Christmas! He eventually made it back a few days later asking for the bag. Like he knew he left it there. We gave it to him with everything in it. And then the money topic came up! Come on man! This is a family business with only family and friends. We got money, but regardless. 10 years strong and we do a lot to help the community and visitors to SF. Don’t disrespect us. I was there when my brother found it. And we tried looking for you. No one, Was near the bag , we saw it right after you left the table. We are on top of cleaning tables after visitors leave. We love what we do and we are good people. If you have a issue with food taste and quality, I get it but don’t come on here...
