My friend and I stopped in here for lunch, and had an upsetting experience. She ordered a chicken taco and a fish taco. The screen showed a chicken taco and a vegetarian taco, so my friend clarified with the woman taking her order that she wanted a fish taco, to which the woman nodded and said yes. We still thought it was odd that it was listed as vegetarian, but some vegetarians eat fish so we didn’t question it further. Sure enough, when the food came out she received a vegetarian taco. I went back up to the counter to let the woman know about the mistake, fully prepared to pay the difference because the fish taco was more expensive by $1.50 or so. The woman immediately started looking through receipts, and I told her that the receipt said vegetarian but that she had ordered fish. She went into the kitchen for a moment, then came back out, and told me: “I put the order in for you but next time look at the screen” while gesturing to the screen that displays your order. I was a little taken aback, and not entirely sure I’d hear her right, so I went to sit back down. When she brought out the fish taco, she once again said “next time, please make sure the order is correct on the screen because it creates a problem for me” as if we hadn’t tried to clarify with her when ordering. I found it very shocking and upsetting to be lectured about something that was neither my nor my friends fault! At that point we decided to take our food to go because we didn’t want to be here any longer, so my friend went to ask for some boxes. She also apologized to the woman for creating confusion, and told her that she had tried to clarify when ordering. The woman said “it’s okay” and gave her 1 tiny box. When she asked for a larger box (because I hadn’t eaten any of my meal yet), the woman turned away and helped someone else first, then gave her 1 more tiny box. Overall bad customer service, lecturing your guests over a communication error that is your fault is...
Read moreWe enjoyed Cilantro SF Taqueria. Overall the tacos were really good and great price. A very respectful proportion with the meat to tortilla ratio. Definitely use your second tortilla to grab the meat that falls on the plate. I loved it. I personally would’ve liked a little more grease on my tortillas but that’s a matter of personal preference. The salsa was great, it had a little kick that you wouldn’t find in your normal Tex mex restaurant salsa. The place offers a very nice seating area overlooking into the city. Variety of beverages offered. I had trouble finding parking but nevertheless it motivated me even more to visit this place due to the great reviews. Did not disappoint. I will definitely recommend the tacos al pastor. Great flavor combination. The carnitas, like I said, I would’ve liked more...

The staff? Honey, they were more on point than my winged eyeliner on a good day. Faster service than a quick-change between numbers, I tell you!
Now, the food had me gagging - in the best way possible! It was so good, I almost forgot I was on my way to be entertained, not to entertain!
