Hello Sandwich & Noodle — Restaurant in San Francisco

This sandwich is just so tasty I felt compelled to show love by writing my first review ever. This Banh Mi is impossible to put down right now, even to type this review, which I’m doing one-handed. The Lemongrass Beef at Hello Sandwich is seasoned to perfection and infused with some sort of seriously succulent magical sorcery that makes it insanely delicious. This is my second time ordering this sandwich, which has been just as delicious as the first time, so I can attest to their consistency here too. I’m convinced their sandwich makers are also skilled wizards because of their lightning-quick speed and dedication to making food so mouthwateringly good. Gotta mention how great of deal this spot is— $5 Banh Mi “out the door”! Plus, they have FREE hot tea in a big dispenser next to the (also free) ice water. Where else can you get a sando that gets you full for $5, plus all the piping hot tea you can drink? They also have tall cans of Arizona for the suggested retail price of $1, which is how you KNOW a place is keeping it legit. Best restaurant on the block, and with the friendliest staff too— certainly compared to both restaurants neighbouring them on either side (who I would not suggest to someone looking for courteousness in their service). Banh Mi has that nice outer crunch to the bread while still being soft on the inside and has a good amount of meat especially for the magical $5 price point. The benefit to this lunch grab & go over others is that they also serve really good & filling noodle soups to compliment the banh mi plus everything has pictures for easy ordering.
