We were going to the wharf, but wanted to get brunch nearby. There were a lot of options, but my mom really wanted to try their unicorn pancakes for the dragon fruit. We came around 11am and it was crowded inside. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes before being seated though. Inside had a lot of tables and was pretty cramped.

We ordered the unicorn pancakes and the Denver omelette. I asked to switch the ham to sausage and with potatoes, not hash browns. The unicorn pancakes was really good. The fruit was fresh and sweet. My omelette did not come with potatoes and was made with ham. We asked to switch it out, but they ended up just giving extra potatoes. It still tasted good, but I was still a little sad.

Parking will definitely be hard in this area, but we ubered. I'm a little disappointed that my dish came out incorrectly even after confirming it. The food was still good and I would maybe come back to try their other foods. It is pretty cramped in here, so be mindful of that if coming with...

Although Joanie's was recommended by our hotel concierge and nicely reviewed online, my wife and I still expected, based on its name, some kitschy, TV-show themed, overpriced place to which we'd never want to go again. To our surprise, we found a completely un-themed, cozy storefront restaurant with friendly service, reasonable prices, and extremely generous portions of very tasty food. My sausage omelette had a great balance of sliced link sausage, cheese and eggs, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife tried the Pacifica Scramble, with eggs, shrimp, spinach, and mushroom (she left off the onions); she cleaned her plate. Very nice place we...

We thought we give this a try after eating at Eight AM just a few feet down the road. Joanie's was not a bad experience. My burrito with chorizo was actually pretty good. However we also ordered hash browns extra crispy and we got far far from crispy and the waiter ran away before we had a chance to ask him to put them back in the pan. No one ever checked on us again. Some people like that. We don't. We also ordered a side of avocado. That never showed up. At least we didn't get charged for it. Overall to much chatting between the employees instead of checking on the needs of the customers. Friendly, but not really observing what is going on...

Extremely risky diner. My eggs and potatoes were cold and the selection of teas is Lipton Tea. I didn't get toast, but I was offered cold bread? I guess they would have to put it in a chiller. My wife had eggs benedict with a hair , a mushroom and partly raweggs, her potatoes were very cold that were probably in a chiller. It was an unpleasent experience, which is a shame for such a prime location. For $20 I expected food that at least would pass a health department inspection.

We were completely satisfied with our meal. Great service and portions. The staff is friendly and did a great job asking if we needed something which I eventually did need something. I appreciated it that because sometimes some waiters take a long time and don't even ask. I felt as if my service was greatly appreciated. We definetly enjoyed our meal and even had leftovers. The restaurant was really clean as well as their bathroom.
