Unfortunately, the experience at Mothership was tainted by poor customer service. The bartender was unnecessarily rude and quick to jump to conclusions when one of my friends hit “no tip” on the card reader—without knowing that I was planning to leave a cash tip instead, as someone who works in the service industry and understands the value of tipping in cash.
Rather than asking politely, the bartender abruptly asked, “Why no tip?” and then refused to serve us further, even going so far as to ask my friend, “Why are you here?” It felt incredibly judgmental and unprofessional, especially since we had just arrived and were ordering our first round.

The DJs were so fire, playing a wide range of music and keeping it groovy. There is a backdoor patio with great seating and those giant metal heaters to keep everyone warm.
The bartenders were enthusiastic and enjoying their night while making us amazing drinks. Speaking of drinks, the cocktails were delicious and the beers were great on draft, also not expensive.
I see no reason why I wouldn't start or end my night here every night out. Will...
