Absolutely fantastic experience at Pho 2000! I recently visited their San Francisco location and had the Veggie Pho along with their delicious Thai tea. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
The Veggie Pho was beyond my expectations; the broth was rich and flavorful, and the fresh vegetables added a delightful crunch to every bite. The portion size was generous, and the combination of ingredients created a perfect balance of taste and texture.
To complement my meal, I decided to try their Thai tea, and it was the perfect choice! The creamy sweetness paired wonderfully with the savory pho, making it a delightful and refreshing combination.
Overall, my dining experience at Pho 2000 was outstanding. The restaurant’s cleanliness and comfortable seating added to the enjoyment of the meal. I truly appreciate their dedication to catering to vegetarians and providing such delicious options.
I highly recommend Pho 2000 to anyone looking for an authentic and mouthwatering Vietnamese dining experience in San Francisco. Five stars all the way! I can’t wait to visit again and try more of their...
Read moreBeing right near my work, we went to Pho 2000 to celebrate a coworker's birthday.
Although it is in somewhat of a seedy area, immediately upon entering the restaurant we felt transported to Vietnam (or at least removed from the Tenderloin).
For an appetizer, we got the Goi Cuon (shrimp and pork rolls). The Goi Cuon was fantastic, and the peanut like sauce complemented the shrimp, pork, and lettuce beautifully.
For the main, I got the Bun Rieu (crab noodle soup). The Bun Rieu broth was a little spicy, but I amped it up by adding some of the chili crisp on the table. The broth had a nice spicy and seafood flavor, and the crab paste and shrimp paste tasted great with the noodles and broth. There was also a nice serving of ground pork, especially considering I got the small portion which was only around $11.59.
Everyone else at the table loved their entrees as well.
Given that it serves super tasty food at very reasonable prices, I will...
Read moreUsually, I make a trip out to San Jose for your pho, because pho is often disappointing outside of San Jose, but this is by far one of my top pho places in the Bay now. If you’re in The City or just got out of the Asian Art Museum, this joint will fulfill your pho cravings. I got the #11 pho and the broth was seasoned perfectly with a great balance of slightly sweet, clear, pho broth that had depth to it. The meat and tendon was perfect, the service was straightforward, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable, $11 for a regular size! I usually don’t finish all the broth but this place made me want to not waste any of the soup.
If you’re in San Francisco and you need pho, check this place out! Be mindful that you will be in the Tenderloin area, so keep your head on a swivel and make sure you check where you’re going before you head there. Be safe and enjoy your...
