Wanted to like this place because of the extensive vegan options but a few big issues I hope they will consider fixing so it can be somewhere we and others can enjoy fully:

sushi rice on all of the rolls was very mushy and wet, but weirdly also fell apart vegan crab hand roll: there was too much rice, it felt like a mini-sushi burrito more than a hand roll the vegan dragon roll was the best dish of the night, unagi sauce with the eggplant was delicious ume shiso maki: WAY too much ume plum, we have eaten this many other places (including Japan) it’s normally one of my go-to maki rolls and it’s strong so it needs to be just a dab. Here, it was plopped in and overpowered the shiso and rice altogether, we didn’t eat 4 out of the 6 pieces it came with (see pic)

The positives: nice service and easily grabbed a table prices are decent for what you get, but the dining atmosphere looks a little unfinished vegan California roll: solid. They use some type of cauliflower mash to resemble the...

This place is awesome! The sushi is so good with a lot of variety. It has a nice balance of ‘regular’ and vegan/vegetarian options, sure to make everyone happy. There are so few places in the city with good vegan/vegetarian options. The vegan/vegetarian options are seriously impressive with many good specialty rolls. The Daniel Son is my favorite. So unique 🤯. The server Nissa is awesome and the owner is really cool and down to earth. They often give a free sample to start the meal and go above and beyond to make people happy 😊. They also have a dope hangout in the back where you can go while you’re waiting for food. There is a pool table, ping pong table and old school video games to play for free. It’s great. Great aesthetics in the restaurant too. Give it a try. You won’t be...

Sancha is great. I learned of it through my friend’s recommendation and came because of his description of their “burrito sized sushi rolls”. Now, I come for lunch regularly.

the hosts provide excellent service The sushi is prepared quickly and always tastes great In the back there is a ping pong table and a small pool table which guests are welcome to use

While the sushi rolls may not be truly the size of a mission burrito, they do come close. I think two rolls here would more than satisfy most hungry people. Pictured is some nigiri, the spicy tuna roll, and the...
