Came here twice. Was disappointed twice. Let's start with the "Good" first Falafel is pretty good. I would say one of the best in the city or close to being one. Definitely better than the falafels from the FIDI area competitors. Beef Kabob Plate is pretty generous and definitely a good bang for the buck - comes with hummus, rice, four medium-sized kebabs, some veggies. Ambience - Doesn't feel like a restaurant. More like a place you hang out with friends. Can be a good or a bad thing.

Now, the not so good The hummus - I hoped this will become my go-to place for good hummus. It is not. While the consistency is better than some of their competitors, the taste is just... strange. This is not how hummus should taste like. Hummus ma’ Lehma - hummus topped with spiced beef - The beef is not good. Burned and tasteless. Pitas - very thin pita, breaks easily. They do provide more if asked Service - We were four people. Got two tables that were in different heights. Bottle of water was spilled all over the table by the waiter. They were running around and kind of all over the place. Not even clear who is a waiter or not. Might be because it's a new place and all that, but just feels very unprofessional Ambience - Mentioned under the "good" section and here as well - Very noisy. Almost impossible to converse with friends when sitting for dinner. Probably better during off-peak hours.

Not sure why it got such a high score. In some cases, I can be very picky, but in this case, I don't think I am. I won't be coming back,...

I personally didn't eat anything from this restaurant but I did pick up about 8 meals for my boss from this location. When I tell you I've never seen such a smooth moving machine. They had just opened maybe a good 30 minutes before and I had put in the order exactly when they opened. It was at first going to be for delivery but I Saw that whatever My boss needed the meal for was being moved up so I decided to drive over. There's absolutely no parking in this area. There's the street but it's always completely busy and it's right across from the Safeway and I'm assuming you can't park in the safe way to go here. So I legally parked. When in asked a few questions. They said things were still being worked on, which I absolutely knew would probably be the case again. I ordered eight meals and I believe we also had some added on items as well. I went back in the car and thankfully someone moves so I was able to park. I think I waited a total of 15 minutes for the food and honestly if I had waited inside it probably would have been less time because by the time I came back into the building the food was completely ready. It was also put together so perfectly that my drive back to my job didn't see any of the food in my car. I can't wait to go back and try the food! It smelled amazing in...

It be excellent! My favorite kind of restaurant, casual atmosphere with incredible food. Mezze sampler: The easy choice. Each dip is aromatic, vibrant and flavorful. I was really impressed by the subtle spice in the ful, the richness of the lebna, and the pickled acidity in the hummus. Falafel is the best I've had in a restaurant since Berlin, crisp outside with an herbaceous interior. Supremely well done. Chicken Shish Plate: Stunning portion of tender, charred, garlicky chicken skewers resting on sauteed peppers and onions, all on a mountain of seasoned rice. Generous amount of hummus on the side, with some pita. Shakshuka: Big cumin presence, light spice and balanced sweetness from the pepper and tomato. Nice when scooped up with some lebna, but I'll pass on this one next time. Muhalabia - thick milk pudding topped with cinnamon, rose petals, pistachios, and orange blossom water. Subtle sweetness with light floral aroma, really lovely. All enjoyed with a glass Petite Ferme Rouge from Morocco, nice light & bright red blend with some oak finish that matched the tanginess of the mezze and char of the chicken. I was even able to swap the muhammara with ful on the mezze, since I have a stupid walnut allergy. Really nice. Had a great time and will...
