Terrible services! Paid $30 + $4.50 tip for two acai bowls, needed to use restroom, and the man copped an attitude, refused to let me use restroom. He said it was for employees only. He did not give a viable solution until I asked where I could go, and the woman recommended a bookstore down the street.
I begged the man if I can use it, he persisted, I asked why, he said their policy started during COVID, and they kept it in place since. He added that there was a time someone used the restroom and did something sketchy. I asked, "so because someone did something sketchy at some time, you closed the restroom for all customers?" and he maintained his stance.
I informed him I just paid $30 PLUS $4.50 TIP and he couldn't let me use the restroom, he then offered a refund, and I accepted. He then said he will just process the refund, but said he could not give a receipt. I told him he's required to give a refund receipt, and finally he printed one.
