This was my first time purchasing from this store. I am a community member who wanted to buy my mom a nice xmas gift so I stopped in. The young woman who helped me was so helpful and nice but when I finally found what I was looking for and was being checked out the owner intervened and switched the item I was purchasing. I thought this was strange but I allowed it and later come to find out she shorted me a figure (the angel) from the nativity scene. This just seems shady and although I really want to give the business the benefit of the doubt I feel that the owner pulled a fast one on me. I gave the gift to my mom anyway but these are the little things that make me never want to support this business again. Oh my oh my!! Where do I begin! This is on the top of my list for jewlery stores in Sanfrancisco!! Once inside you can hardly decide which case to look at first! The variety and the quality selection of goods like ,day of the dead ,milagros,candles beautiful art work,tarot cards alters,Mexican painted animals, only add to the fun .This being said the jewelry here is displayed impeccably like a museum .The only problem here is deciding what to buy!! I love skull jewelry and unusual sterling pieces. Luz De Luna does not disappoint. Finally Denise the owner,is adorable She can help you find just the right thing.Hint hint to male shoppers . I went to the store today and the ladies who helped were very nice. However, when I was about to pay, one of the ladies tried to charge me $80 for a small Virgin Mary wall decor. I told her, ‘Isn’t the price $45/$48?’ because before checking out I had asked for its price, and she had shown me the price sticker. There’s also a similar decor like the one I bought with the same price. After I mentioned it, she changed it back to the original price. Good thing I spoke up.
