I hate to give them a low score because they’re capable for greatness however the bad reviews saying their demeanor changes when you speak English is sadly true. I started speaking English because they weren’t saying vegetarian correctly or in a way that way easy for me to distinguish in a loud area so I just started speaking English for clarity on both sides of our dialogue HOWEVER I noticed as soon as I started they started giving me even more dirty looks after not being able to understand their incorrect pronunciation of the word vegetarian I just wasn’t going to risk getting an Italian dish lol. Didn’t stop with dirty looks but I decided to leave a low rated review because then they started passing it onto my food. The burrito wasn’t even a burrito it was a mangled salad with a wet tortilla. (Did not order the wet burrito and same went for my super vegetarian nachos) I just feel that discrimination among Mexican Americans is very real here. I brought money in everyday to show support to my people and was only met with disappointment. I do believe they’re capable of making great food and doing great things but the more prejudice they have towards their customers on the low the more obvious it is in their food. Cook with love not hate we can all taste...

I'm sure their food is great BUT I'm a person who's managed a variety of retail stores for over a decade, never in the restaurant/food service industry, however. So a businesses, not open, during their posted hours of operation, is a huge negative. Worse then that is a business that's open (doors open, employees working) but when your inside tells you "we're closed." This is such a place. I know life happens and would think nothing of it if I'd been told they were still preparing the food, had an issue with their register or some other reasonable circumstance. But no, I was told "sorry, we're closed." Which to me is: a. An insult to my intelligence and b. The inexcusable customer service no, no, of conferring the blame onto the customer. It's as if they're suggesting I snuck in, before or after their posted "open" timeframe, then had the unreasonable expectation that they serve me. It's rude and one of the few scenerios that would prompt me to exert myself and write a...

Have been going to this place for a very long time. Ordered a taco and couldn't believe how good it was! It was a super taco. Paid $3.99. It came with huge slices of avacado, sour cream, grilled steak, and salsa They make it with two tortillas. There was so much put into the taco, it was overflowing. Soooooo good!! Came with chips and two kinds of salsas. I have a friend, that when she comes into town, she goes to this place, first thing, before she does anything else. She gets a super veggie burrito. Its her favorite burrito place, anywhere. The flavor is a little different than other places. I cant figure out why. Maybe its how they grill the flour tortillas or its in the spices they use. When i happen to go in this neighborhood, i will always be tempted to go have a taco for lunch. Just writting about this place, makes me want to go to this neighborhood...

We found this place, as we were looking for Mexican style street tacos. It was a good find - great service with nice customer service and they brought out the food really fast. I really appreciate the men who served us, very kind! They serve chips and salsa while you wait, and the chips are very tasty and the green sauce was my favorite. I ordered carne asada tacos, around $3 each. They were bigger than I was expecting, which was a good surprise. The size of my palm, with double tortillas. The parking was bad, we parked in the street. And this downtown area does have a lot going on and crowded streets at times. Be careful, some alleys look sketchy. Didn't take many pictures, but from the reviews. I can say that this picture is what it actually looks like inside, not the other colorful pictures with the Mexicans banners.

Went on Wednesday almost noon and LOVED the food! Ordered a chicken burrito with salsa roja and it was so flavorful!! I know some people will be grossed out and all since fridge and food prep is almost done next to a customer since it is a small location, but the food is amazing!! Definitely want to come back! I’ve tried so many places that sell Mexican food and nothing compares to this place! Gave us chips and some salsa! Usually I find places like these the best and very dedicated to their work! Just thinking about this burrito I got makes me want more!!

If you are looking for authentic Mexico, but not in Mexico, but you’re in San Francisco this is the place There is absolutely no better place to get a super vegetarian burrito with black beans, brown rice, guacamole sour cream……. then this place so stop looking And if that’s not enough, you get the alter to the Virgin Mary ridiculous paintings and the normal San Francisco, which is every color of the rainbow every shape and size. So for San Francisco’s in the know, there’s no better place to know for people visiting us. There’s no better place to go.
