Halal Modena pizza — Restaurant in San Francisco

ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA IN THE TENDERLOIN HANDS DOWN!! I love coming to this pizza joint that is tucked off in the beginning of sixth street and Stevenson alley/market street area in San Francisco california. The pizza is always hot and fresh never cold like most places in the city. And I mean that!! The staff is so friendly to everyone who comes in for service. They are super helpful and will accommodate to your order if they dont have exactly what your looking for at that time. The restaurant is very modern and SUPER CLEAN unlike most places on this side of sixth street. (Probably the cleanest building on the block!) 😉 And the hours are super awesome because they are open early to super late, from 10:00 am- 3:00 am!! The establishment offers pickup and delivery so if you like it as much as I do then you can enjoy this pizza at home! Now a days you can't get a decent slice for more than 7.00 now it seems like. Here at Modena they're combination slice is only 4.80 out the door. So now you know why it is the best place so far. I had to write a review because it's been awhile since I've ate out or gotten any food from a restaurant and now I finally got to eat out and I'm glad I chose this pizza joint! Great food guys I come here alot so I've gotten familiar with the faces that prepare and serve my food they are kind faces with genuine smiles. With that being said I just wanted to let you know that whatever was going on that evening of that disagreement the two employees had is completely forgivable. I can imagine the thoughts of passerbys but I can only say times get tough your culture is different than ours so one couldn't even begin to understand the nature of the situation. Regardless it had nothing to do with your quality and service and neither of those attributes waivered at that time. I only mention this because there were other people to witness that scuffle but they are only talking negative about it. I wanted to make sure that for anyone who didn't see it but heard about it to know that it was a totally isolated incident these men work hard for their community and our city and they shouldn't be shunned and judged for a personal emotional feud. I had ordered a first time delivery as every other time I had stopped in to order and pick up. This time had ruined it for me entirely, my order was late night however they were still open and taking orders. After online confirmations I called 40 min later to check progress and I was informed it was ordered and to be delivered with in the hour... Free an hour later I called and no one answered my call I was still waiting and after 80 min I got a call saying the driver was on its way... 30 min later he came so I paid in full and when I checked my order I was missing 2 items I called and they tried to make me out a liar, I guess they didn't know I was emailed the order and they still tried to make me the wrong. I order in house all the time and will never return to this place again after I do go back and demand my items that I paid for. What is this world coming to. Pathetic attempt to shave off...
