I contacted the nightclub before the show to ask about tickets since I had never been there before. I was told the closest option to the stage would be the vip experience table. When I arrived the ViP experience/open bar table was the last table close to the back corner wall and the stage was not visible. I paid $150 for the ticket (even though I told the person I do not drink). Turns out I stood up the whole time to be close to the stage- did not get one drink from the VIP table and the others next to me on the dance floor/ close to the stage paid $35 The messages she (Temple Management, Melody) sent me were very misleading and it was difficult to keep my cool after I got there and saw what I paid for. I did ask for a better area but was told this was what I paid for. There was no one I could talk to about it as they were all busy.
If you're curious about what level ticket to pay for- buy the cheapest one possible if you want to be close to the stage. There are no sections that are roped off unless you buy a table with bottle service. If you do buy one of those I was told the higher price you pay- the closer your table will be.
If you choose the VIP Experience- you will have NO VIEW of the stage and no screen anywhere that streams the show. You are basically screwed. Any option with a full bar will not be worth it- the place was so crowded you couldn't get a drink anyway.
The artist I paid to see came out at 1am after standing at the stage for about 90 minutes. He was on the stage for about 20-30 minutes. He sang over the original tracks the DJ played- it was rough. However, my stars aren't based upon that experience. The 2 stars are basked upon being scammed out of $150 when I could have paid $35.
The crowd was very young- if you are 21-25 this is probably a good spot for you. Mature crowds might be disappointed as the shenanigans are prety juvenile.
I won't be returning now that I know...
Read moreIt's hard to rate this club. The venue is sweet. The lights change colors with the music and the sound system is great. The night I went here they had really good electronic artists. It was set to be a fun night. If I only had to rate it on those criteria, definitely 4 stars. It could use some seating for the general public. The minimum $300 for what amounts to a coffee table on the dance floor is a bit much.
On to the meat.
I don't know if I went on a night where the bouncers were having a bad day, but I felt bullied by them.
It was early in the night, and no one was really dancing, but the DJ started laying down some sick beats, so I went to dance. I wasn't being obnoxious, dangerous, or a nuisance in any way to anyone. I was in a mostly empty portion of the dance floor having a great time all by myself.
All of a sudden, a bouncer pulls me aside, thinking I'm on drugs. I'm stone cold sober. When he realizes that, he tells me I need to turn it down a notch. Weird. I could understand if I was being ridiculous in some over the top manner, but this was not the case.
With the wind out of my sails, I perch on a wall to catch my breath, shake off the momentary embarrassment and recharge. 5 minutes later the same bouncer comes by and tells me that if I'm going to be stoic and not dancing, then I need to go home.
At this point, I felt angry. No desire to dance anymore. MIGHT DANCE TOO HARD AND BE REMOVED! Lame. The rest of the clubbers never got going from what I saw. Regardless of the intensity of the music, they vibrated in place.
Lame and tame is not the name of the game for me. People tell me my experience was a fluke, that SF is awesome and fun. Let's hope so, because this club was a huge...

Though entry fee was expensive we went there thinking the experience would be great, we were in line for almost an hr to get into the pub, it was over crowded inside with not even a square inch space to stand, drinks are expensive where he charged me $13 for a drink at 10 pm and for the same drink they charged me $18 at 1pm. At around 2 pm 2 bouncers came near us and started pushing and asked us to leave for no reason, we were not disturbing the crowd or misbehaving with others, for no reason they started to push us, i said i will leave with my wife along with my 4 friends but they didn’t care to listen to and kept pushing us as we were prisoners i asked them not to push us as we were leaving the pub suddenly 2 more bouncers came and started to over take me and threw us out of the door leaving my wife inside i started to ask them as my wife got struck inside but their bouncers started to yell at us to shut up and leave with some racist comments, one of the bouncer started to call my friend “fucking Indians” and yelled at us to shut up and leave. I had my wallet with my id’s and car keys inside the coat room and after requesting them for some time they took my coupon inside and brought a different jacket which is not mine they they asked me to come back at 4 which is their closing time to get my jacket, my friend called 911 in front of the staff then they went back and got my jacket.
Our experience at this pub was worst ever, they don’t treat people like humans and they make racist comments if we...
