A few enticing offerings, refreshing & clean decor, but, in general, just your run-of-the-mill breakfast place with food that's just okay.

We were pleasantly surprised by a basket of scones and mini-muffins upon being seated at the counter. The Boy ordered a small coffee, the cobb scrambled with potato pancakes, and I had an omelet with tomatoes, spinach, and mushrooms, choosing the white cheddar cheese, a side of fruit, and substituting the apple sausage for the turkey option. Surprisingly, the coffee was better than your usual diner coffee and other chain options such as Le Boulanger and Panera's self-serve. The potato pancakes were more like hash browns - I couldn't find the "pancake" in the equation. The omelet was decent, but the eggs were somewhat flavorless and the ingredients were not well integrated. Brownie points for fruit that tasted sweet and fresh. The highlight of the meal would have to be the innovative twist on the breadbasket.

Toward the end of the meal, I noticed that the chefs behind the counter were all using their bare hands to handle every ingredient, grabbing the potato pancakes and handfuls of sliced bananas. That made me feel...

A neighborhood gem a few minutes walk from Oracle Park. My friends and I made reservations prior to a Giants day game, and the place was basically full about 90 minutes before first pitch. If the weather allows it, get an outside table for the wonderful view. The service was great, and by that I mean unrushed and relaxed, but efficient. The menu has something that should please anyone, and I think if you wanted something a certain way, they’d be happy to oblige. Each of us independently chose an omelet - a Denver, a “Keep It Veggie,” and for me, the “South of the Border.” Mine was the best chorizo-based omelet I’ve ever had, because of its deconstruction: just delicious chorizo and black beans wrapped in an egg “enchilada” with the accompaniments astride. My companions loved theirs, too. The Hash Browns are top notch: buttery, al dente, and flaky. Even the Iced Tea is great - fresh without a trace of bitterness. We left full, satisfied, and relaxed, with time to walk to the ballpark and find our seats. If I lived here, it would be hard to not...

Food quality and service dropped dramatically since my last visit! Don’t even try eating here before a baseball game manager told me minimum of 45 minute wait list. When I suggested they stop doing door dash orders during game rushes she said there’s a separate staff for just door dash orders it has no effect 😝 My over easy eggs were raw the hash browns were burnt and the biscuits so dry I almost choked on them. Add tasteless sausage gravy and you have a thoroughly forgettable meal! Will not repeat even on a slow day.
