Viking’s Giant Submarines — Restaurant in San Francisco

It's a cheap place to eat. It was my first time here, I got the beef sandwich. It was okay when I first bit into it but I had to save the rest for my lunch break a couple hours later. It did not hold up. You could tell the meat isn't fresh. Not sure when they cooked it but the sandwich was made super fast so I'm sure they cook it in big batches but it didn't taste good. The texture is also very chewy with some weird tendon pieces that I had to spit out. Never tried their other sandwiches so maybe those are better but I do not recommend the beef. The bread is okay, nothing to write home about. Not sure if I'll give this place...

This is the dopest hole in the wall in SF. Their Chicken Banh Mi is my usual. Fries are crispy , fresh, and made on the spot. I grew up in this neighborhood and this was the go-to spot for all the kids. Other things that are amazing are the Vegetarian Burger, Teriyaki Chicken Noodles, and Cheeseburger. If you have a lunch break and are in Glen Park needing a place to eat, I highly suggest this place. Food is inexpensive, tasty, and their is variety...

You may be confused by the name like I was. They do not sell submarines that can go in water. They sell sandwiches and food. To get over the initial sadness of not being able to purchase a submarine to explore the ocean, I ate a lot of their food. Man, is it good. And affordable!
