Yesterday I had de opportunity to try this place for the first time and I had a lovely lunchtime with great food and friendly service. I choose the patio area to enjoy the nice weather and the place didn't disappoint: the atmosphere is great, you can enjoy the fresh air in an open space without the sun in your eyes. I had: - Spritz Bianco 12 (prosecco, limoncello, club soda, lemon wedge, rosemary)- Peroni Nasto Azzurro (Italian beer) - Crostini Sampler (perfect to try a little bit of everything) - Melanzane panini (Roasted eggplant, sweet red peppers, garlic, crimini mushrooms, thyme, rosemary & a melted 5 cheese blend on a toasted baguette)- Prosciutto Calzone (shredded mozzarella, whipped ricotta mixture, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, EVOO, fresh romano, parsley). Everything was on point: temperature, flavor, texture, portions, and I'm still thinking about the dough's calzone with the different cheeses that I tasted. My advice: go to this place with extra time so you can have the whole experience without using your meal, and let yourself be indulged by the staff (with their service and suggestions).

It was my first time in, and I was so surprised at how great this place is is! To start, our server let us sample the wines on the wine list before pouring, which was a fantastic way for us to decide which wine to pair with our food. I also liked that there was an option to choose a bottle out of their wine library. Our food was so delicious. We ordered off of their fixed price menu for Dine DTSJ week and my main course was the salmon, which was cooked so perfectly - crispy and caramelized on the outside and still juicy in the center. My boyfriend ordered the eggplant dish and it was delicious as well - he had no complaints. Also, our food came out nice and hot! We will definitely be returning.

Just wanted to say that paying this bill for the “Grande Tavola “ a focaccia and a bottle of wine was crazy. We were 4 people and we literally had to divide everything in portions, look at picture 🤦🏼‍♀️when we were said that it was gonna be huge. Also the waitress came with the bottle of wine already opened which is something I have never seen anywhere. We couldn’t even taste the wine first and we don’t know for how long it has been opened. Is it really an enoteca? The quality of meats is the same of Supermarkets. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Very disappointing .

Great wine selection, good prices, delicious food.had the mushroom and pistachio pizza - so good!

Also, try the wine dinners if you get a chance! Amazing!

Update: the space is now a very small food court-ish place with I think 3 components:

bibo's - local ny pizza joint with a few locations, with this one skewing high-end slices, fries and wings - had garlic wings from here along with really solid salads

Salumni place - cheese & meats - I had the burrata (a whole ball, with toasts and arugula

Pour decisions - a Beer focused bar - great selection, lots of locals

Ancora Vino - the wine store - didn't really check this out, but they've always excellent selections before, so id expect the same

New situation is really pleasant, glad they were able to keep the place open in it's...

At there for lunch with a colleague on sept 6th. not too busy, Bartender Jeffery was our server, not overly friendly, did not know the menu well. I ordered a Panini, and it came out as a sandwich, not a hot pressed sandwich. Questioned this when the server finally came back to check on things and his comment was "oh, yea, sandwich in Italian in Panini, OK, you got me on that one, disappointing. The bread it came on was stale. Informed Jeffery, again, no off change to change out for bread I actually could eat.

Ordered an Iced tea, got a refill and was charged $3- for the refill, really??

Manger, dark haired lady with glasses was wondering around barking orders. Did not bother to ask one table how things were or thank them for coming in.

Growing pains? Maybe, I...
