Denny's — Restaurant in San Jose

Let’s start off by saying it wasn’t even busy inside at all they may have had 2-3 cooks one whose thin straight black hair ended up in my food and I have curly hair with blonde high lighted tips. They had 1 waiter (Anthonio) and two kids cleaning tables or assisting since the waiter didn’t care to check on you- I had to ask for napkins and butter. When I took a piece of my bacon I put it down and saw the hair and told him and he looked 3x and I asked did you see it because it’s not my hair he didn’t even apologize he just took my food. He brings new food and doesn’t say sorry again and i ask for two containers because I got the berry and banana pancakes which came w eggs and hash browns and bacon. The pancakes were perfect so he took the plate w the eggs. So, he comes back w the new food and by now I’m over his poor service and lack of attention so I ask for two to-go containers. Get this! I pack my food and guess what??? Two more hairs one a long brown curly one and another straight black one but longer. I am now wondering if it’s the one of the bus boys assisting in the back. So I tell him again he gets an attitude asks to see it and snatched my pancakes off the table Which I wanted and which I was taking to-go but when my friend said he wasn’t paying for any of my food bc of the hair he got mad. I never go to this Dennys but since my friend was visiting his dad on the east side we went there. Never EVER WILL I EVER GO TO THIS DENNYS. Not once did we get an apology he also kept my food on the tab in fact and never even checked on us we had to keep flagging him down. Poor service poor customer service and they won’t see me again! I will say my food was piping hot and fresh but my waiter Anthonio is trash just like his poor service and the cooks whose hair kept falling in food smh....

They dont have chicken strips or raspberry tea. Juan Pablo Moreno is the only reason this establishment has more than 0 star. would not come again unless Juan Pablo Moreno is working.

I came back at 11:36 pm, after my night at the panic room with family and co. (its my bday).

Anywho I believe in second chances. Still no tea, all chicken items are gone. Classy. I changed my rating from 4 stars to 1. I got checked on once on my prior visit and I am currently waiting for what seems like an eternity even though there is two other customers here.

That being said, Juan Pablo is a stellar employee and truly outdid himself. He deserves a raise.

Edit 3: Finished my meal. Steak was good. Nothing special about the potatoes, they weren't crunchy and not much flavor. Asked for multiple items on the side and didn't get them. Didn't get sauce, gravy, garlic bread, and undercooked meat. The fries and Juan Pablo carry this establishment. The buns are NOT toasted.

Every time I think about coming to this wretched establishment I call to see if Juan Pablo is grinding to support his lovely family.

TLDR: Sub par establishment. Fries are the only good food item. Only come if Juan Pablo is working. Save your pockets and stomach. This place is not worth your time, money, and meal. Take yourself to somewhere else and get a real meal. Thank you for reading my first review all. Appreciate it.

Final Message: Had to ask another worker for my box because the waitress took too long to bring it. The food was terrible. I was better off going home and cooking quesadillas.

My girlfriend and I went there for a late dine night, at the first the server look to be nice, but she completely forget about us after serve our dinner. We ran out of our drinks and she never came again and ask if we need something I try to get her attention but she ignored us. We left the 2 glass cups where she can see them, 10 mins after she went to the table next to us and offer them if they need anything else but she didn't even bother to ask us if we are ok or if we want more drinks even when she seen the two glass cups empty, there was just two tables occupied on the restaurant how she can get forget about us just because she was messing around with her other coworkers, I just ended asking for the bill and when I was paying she had a fake smile on her face but when she seen that I didn't give her a tip she had a serious face because she knew what she...
