UPDATE (changing 1-star to 3)... After calling HQ, and explaining the situation below, I received a lot of empathy and a call from the AM named Sam. He profusely apologized and told me to return and ask for Jorge, so I did. He said the woman manager was wrong and he'd talk to her. She was gone when I arrived. He told Jorge to comp my whole meal. ...Upon my return EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL! I wish I had been able to get a check to pay with the promo QR code so I could have left a tip. ALL the guys on staff had good attitudes & offered great service! They are a solid team here in the afternoon and should be commended!🙌👍🥰
EARLIER... I had a coupon from T-Mobile for free pancakes until next Tuesday at 4:59am. I went in to order and was told I can use the coupon ONLY TUESDAY. I explained that "the promos come out on Tuesday and you have a week to use it." He said that's nor their communication from their corporate so I asked for the manager. He said he was, but then a few minutes later a Hispanic woman appeared in a dress and showed me her phone. (SHE was clearly the manager.) Her promo had it ending TODAY @ 4:59am so I showed her my phone that had a different expiration date for NEXT Tuesday. So I showed her my phone which had did expiration date different. I told her as this came out this week it's good for one week. I told her that I use these promotions from T-Mobile often and I know how they typically work. She shook her head and gave me a comment that was kind of rude saying, "I'm sure you do." When I made an attempt to call corporate to confirm the legitimacy of what I saw versus what she had on her phone she told me that they "could not serve me" and I would have to leave! She said, "drink your coffee for free and then leave!" I refused the coffee and left and called corporate office which confirmed that I was the one in the right and she was wrong. I feel that this could have also been discrimination because I was a middle-aged white woman coming in by myself and I've had experiences with Hispanic women treating me...
Read moreFirst I want to say. The Spicy Skillet ( Chicken,Chirizo Sausage?, Potato) was very delicious. My bf was tired of Chipotle & Panda so we decide to try Denny's. I want to say the dinner flavour is Delicious & cook did good job of cooking everyting deliciously, BUT why so small? the Dinner portions were small? I saw pictures of other things ( breakfast, Sandwich, etc) & maybe we dont know how to order but everything in pictures look big. I got the dinner for my bf...& he did eat a little before I saw him but I think the portions are kind of small for $ 19 dollars. We got the order To Go...maybe Dine in get more? And he add 2 eggs to it so maybe it was extra but only by $1. So I want to say the ToGo portion were kind of small..maybe we ordered the Cheapest Dinner I think it was only $ 16 add egg so $ 17..maybe if we order more expensive dinner like $19 or 21 dollar dinner we would have got more? ( so we have to go back to eat Chipotle or Panda which we're getting sick of it) But the Food at Dennys was Delicious. If the To Go portion were slightly bigger We'd be eating here everyday. But since the portion kinda tiny I guess we can only taste this delicious food once a week. The host guy was very nice ( I wanted to tip him but didnt since the meal ToGo was already $19 dollars my budget) When we went on Sat night around 7:20pm there was hardly any business, so I look up the review later and realized their busy hours are lunch or later during the night. I feel sorry for them they have to work midnight. I would have given 5 stars because food was so good & host was very nice but since the ToGo portion was kind of small, that is why I only gave 3 stars. I ask my bf did he eat part of it ( when I was taking care of Mom when i got home) & he said he ate very little at first so I saw majority of it &...
Read moreAbsolutely THE WORST Denny's! Upon arrival, there was only one waiter. Many folks were waiting. He waited for several minutes before seating all of us. One family was already seated and waiting for service. He then began going from table to table to take drink orders. Then it took forever because he went to fill all the orders at once. Then ge did the same for food orders. This went on and on until he brought out my Husband's order and walked away without bringing me my order. I had to get up and find silverware for my husband since there was none for us at the table. FINALLY about 10 minutes later he brought out my partial order of the salad. I then had to wait for him to come back some 15 minutes later to tell him that it was a bowl of romain lettuce! The CDC had done a nation wide recall because of salmonella!!! He didn't apologize or say anything. Just took the salad and left. I'm still waiting for the rest of my order. My husband is fuming! Finally I flag him down to ask about my food. He walks away and several minutes later he comes back and says the cook informed him they don't have that and leaves again!! No sorry, no asking if I want something else...nothing!!! My husband is now so upset he can't eat. He finally, some 10 or so minutes and drops a menu in front of me and tersely asks if I want to order something else. By now, what's the point. My Husband is angry. He has walked away AGAIN and STILL doesn't even come back to see if I want to order from the menu he left a long time ago. I explain to him that the whole situation is pretty messed up. My Husband's dinner is ruined because of this whole thing and he just walks away. He gave us a whole $2.oo discount for a dinner my husband didn't even eat. Once again, NO APOLOGY...NOTHING!!! My advice? Never, ever go there....
