I recently visited Dumont Creamery & Café, and it was an absolute delight! Their selection of flavors is simply incredible. The Ruby Cheese was rich and creamy with just the right balance of tanginess—an instant favorite! The Biscoff was a nostalgic treat with its buttery, caramelized flavor that paired perfectly with their crisp cones.
La Ferrero was pure decadence; it felt like biting into a luxurious hazelnut truffle. The Hokey Pokey brought a fun and sweet crunch that kept my kids coming back for more. But the real surprise was the Malted Milk and Apple Honey—a unique combination that was both smooth and refreshing, with the honey adding a touch of natural sweetness.
The atmosphere at Dumont is cozy and inviting, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Whether you're a classic flavor lover or an adventurous foodie, this is a must-visit spot....
Read moreIt was one of the very few places that was open on New Year’s Day. That wasn’t Starbucks. Initial, it was a little difficult to find as Google Maps was a little wobbly, but found it eventually. It’s a cute place which sells ice cream, coffee, as well as Boba. There is a large seating area. A lot of folks were trying the ice cream based drinks, but I just wanted a plain latte. My barista was really sweet, and she asked me if I wanted any flavour. I thought like most places the flavour might be extra $.75 or a dollar but to my surprise, the flavour were included in the price of latte. The latte came out perfect, and it was comparatively cheaper than similar lattes that I have had in pittsburgh and that is amazing for a coffee shop in San Jose. Definitely recommend getting their coffee. I might try ice cream next...
Read moreAfter teaching a workshop I love to find a cafe where I can sit quietly and decompress. Today my wanderings led me to Dumont Creamery and Cafe, and it is perfect. It sits in a corner off the street, so it can take a bit of a commitment to find, but it is a treasure worth hunting. There was consistent traffic for the middle of the afternoon, due more to the creamery portion of the menu than the cafe. I indulged in both, the chocolate mudslide ice cream soothing my worn down vocal cords, the flat white with almond milk giving me the boost I need to power through the afternoon. The staff were friendly and efficient, there was plenty of seating with comfy chairs, and the soundtrack was neither a distraction nor an annoyance. I am left deciding between nursing the flat white or grabbing a second...
