Tiny Keyboard Shop — Local services in San Jose

I hate to leave a 2 star review, as my first experience was great. I was able to come in and build a beautiful keyboard and the staff were super helpful. However the following two visits to purchase another custom keyboard for my husband were terrible. Both times the staff did not offer any help or even offer a greeting. The girl was cursing about video games with either another staff member or a friend, and the second day there was no one at the counter but I suspect the staff member was playing a card game. It’s unfortunate because we came two days in a row to get what we needed for a keyboard but now we have to buy it online because we couldn’t get any assistance either time visiting the shop. Super cute shop with lots of great GMK sets in stock. As well some pbt sets, deskmats, switches, and other goodies.

My only disappointment was i went to Tinys shop to buy a TinyMakesThings artisan only to learn they only sell them at cons. Its hard to not feel disappointment. A kirby was the only thing i wanted.

My advice would be to offer something you can only buy in shop. Telling someone they have to show up to the con to buy imo is silly when they just went out of their way to drive to your shop. I still bought a pack of switches and a deskmat to show support. But i do feel disappointment in not getting a kirby and realizing i never will because i cant make it to...

It used to be good, and I was so excited to come back after hearing they moved into a larger space.

Sadly, although the shop is bigger, it is mainly filled with things unrelated to keyboards, and the keyboard selection was bleak.

Most items were sold out... they had just 1, yes, only 1 kind of cable? Barely any switches, and even the pre-made builds were also out of stock.
