Expected a lot more coming from a 4 star bakery...
I’d rate customer service a 1/5.
First off, they were definitely not wearing masks even though customers were. Saw the other review that pointed this out as well. They communicate with workers in the back by yelling, and even then they have to yell even louder when they can’t hear. Maybe try setting up a microphone connected to the back ??? More efficient....
Second, my mom and I were patiently waiting for our TWO pastries. It was literally there displayed behind the glass. With the customer before us, they handed the pastries immediately. Instead of leaving the pastries on the left side of the counter (where we were CLEARLY standing), he put our pastries on the RIGHT side (OPPOSITE of where we were standing. Like what?... Keep in mind this is while he is taking ANOTHER customers order when he hadn’t even finished with ours.....
We then ask him where our pastries are as he just tosses a bag on the counter. We wanted to take the bag thinking it was ours, AND IT WAS, but he was yelling to the back about an order. So, we asked him where our order was, and he told us to wait as he’s handling another customer.... HE SAYS THIS WHILE HE’S WAITING FOR THE CUSTOMER TO HAND THE MONEY. Why couldn’t he just place the pastries on the counter in front of us. He would’ve had to move literally a footstep.... Instead, he made us cut through the line in front of another customer FORCING US TO NOT KEEP 6 FEET. Even better!
Then, he starts calling US crazy.... This was my first and last experience at this bakery ever.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
So, just a tip for this bakery. The workers should drink some water when they’re stressed. Take a tiny break...
Read moreWow what a pleasant surprised! This is one pretty sweet place!🥰 I've been driving pass by this area many time, however never knew of this shop until one of my girlfriends invited me to meet her here. This place offers all kinds of Vietnamese Bake goods, Pastries, Snacks, Desserts, Teas, Milk Teas Bobas, Salads, and Soups. I was pretty satified that I get to tried their Jasmine milktea Boba here, Passion-Berry fresh fruit tea, and also the Spicy Bread Toasted ( Banh My Muoi Ot). I like to try the Durian Madness, Durian Crepes, and some of the tarts on my next visit. My friends and I really enjoy our time here. We had lots of fun catching up, talking, hanging out, and loving the Ambiance here. We also get the chance to take plenty of pictures together outside in the indoor/outdoor seatings area. There are so many beautiful plants and flowers! Great place for family and friends! Lovely, Beautiful, Festive Decors and Awesome Arrangements! I am Absolutely coming back to try other items, maybe Cakes or Desserts, but most deffinatly other...
Read moreWe went to Dzui's Cakes and Desserts on Alvin Ave on the weekend of October. Parking is limit, expected to circle a few rounds.
Loved the decorations and their puppy.
The green jelly and coffee jello are delicious. Not too soft or too hard, just right. My friend loves her tea with durian in it. There was huge chunks of durian in it. Durian lovers will love this drink. The salted egg bao and the salt and pepper (chilli) grilled bread were a hit for us too.
The white corn drink and the sâm bổ lượng với khoai môn (something over taro) tasted weird. The white corn drink tasted like it's from a can when I first got it and tasted sour around 5pm. As for Sâm bổ lượng với khoai môn (something over taro), the taro tasted sour. I ate all of the almost jello part on top and toss the taro.
Still give them 4 🌟 because everything else...
