Change in Seating Arrangement - A Disappointment
Rating (0/5)
I've been a loyal patron of this Starbucks location for years, primarily due to its inviting atmosphere that made it an ideal spot for business meetings. However, the recent decision to remove all tables and chairs has significantly impacted my experience.
The absence of seating has transformed this once welcoming space into a mere transactional spot, stripping away the essence of what made this place special. The change, while perhaps experimental and aimed at efficiency, has unfortunately disregarded the needs of customers like myself who valued this space for more than just a coffee pick-up point.
I understand that businesses need to adapt and evolve, but this decision seems to have overlooked the importance of customer comfort and the role a coffee shop plays as a social and professional hub. It's disheartening to see such a drastic change without apparent consideration for the diverse needs of its customer base.
I want to clarify that my disappointment is directed towards the decision-makers and not the hardworking baristas who continue to provide excellent service amidst these changes.
In light of these changes, I find myself compelled to explore other coffee shops that offer a conducive environment for business discussions over a good cup of coffee. I hope Starbucks reconsiders this decision and restores the welcoming atmosphere that many of us greatly...
Read moreThere are various reasons why I chose this rating. The first reason is that when I placed my online Mobile App order, no one called my name. I was not aware that my order was ready.
Secondly, I noticed that this particular location instead of putting time limit signs and enforcing it they decide to put outlet covers over their outlets. This makes my visit (and I can only imagine how many others) very inconvenient as I had a brief meeting I needed to attend and my laptops battery was low.
Why did you have to go and put outlet covers. I have been one of the many loyal customers coming to Starbuck for the past decade and a half of my life. It is very unfortunate that there are unwanted guests I get that. Nobody likes people to be loitering so I would recommend putting up signs as a deterrent then as a last resort if there is no change do the outlet covers.
The sign could be something that says, "time limit 1-2 hours with a valid purchase" or something to that effect.
This will no longer be one of my go-to Starbucks! Hope things change for the...
Read moreI never write reviews, but I wanted to commend Tuan for outstanding customer service. I’m one of those strange people who sometimes requests decaf pour overs in the evenings. I’ve become almost ashamed to ask because the cashier (no matter the store) often acts reluctant to make one, or tries to steer me toward a decaf americano. When I sheepishly asked about whether they had decaf pike in stock tonight, Tuan happily offered to do a pour-over with no hesitation. Employees also sometimes forget about the drink after adding the final water, and then call my name at the bar when it’s lukewarm. Tuan broke the mold and delivered it to my table the moment the barista had finished it, wishing me a good night. It was also a perfect pour over, so kudos to the barista (didn’t catch their name). May seem like a small event, but it was enough for me to sit down...
