Tequila's Botanero — Restaurant in San Jose

Such a great environment for decent Mexican food and drinks. The huge plus here is the amazing servers, the fast service, and just the general “vibe” you get from a great restaurant where random dances can bust out in any corner.

The [ambiente] This place feels like what you would expect in a busy red light district. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. Great Latin music everywhere. Free shots, the servers are beautiful and friendly, and at night the dining area becomes a place where people feel free to dance and relax. It’s the closest thing to Mexico without being in Mexico!

[The Food and Drink] The food here is mostly Mexican dishes ranging from the basics. Enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and dishes. They also have Mexican themed sushi! The cocktail selections here are pretty limited but they have plenty of tequila and other beers on hand!

I highly rate this place for the price, vibe, and service! The food is decent but not over the top. Overall, for the price this is an amazing location for a Friday night out, a special date, or just someone trying to escape the grind of the Bay Area and feel like they’re in...

I have always wanted to try this restaurant every time I drove by as I live down the street. Finally get to dine here with my brother on September 26, 2022. We didn't order a whole lot compared to normal as it's our first time here and we weren't sure how the food would turn out. We ordered:

Tequilas roll. The roll picture's look so appealing so I just had to order it. Tostada camaron 1 of each flavor soft tacos Finally a Mexican coke. They had the big size which were big enough to be shared between the 2 of us as we're trying to control the sugar.

Overall, it's a good addition to the neighborhood restaurants list. I liked that they offered 2 cuisine in one restaurant. No longer I had to make a decision to dine at one or another should I wanted sushi or Mexican food.

I heard they have live music based on one of the reviews. I would like to come another...

Exellent hand made Authentic Mexican food,!The see food is fresh and delicious all convine flavors are amaizing anything you ask for from food to drinks are top of the line the customer service is exellent top of the line as well ,I am so amazed with this place that I will recomend to anyone that is a Mexican food ❤️.it doesn't end here the owner provided us a shot of tequila that was delicious and a plate with an unbelievable ceviche ,and a very flavored Mexican flan all include with the see food and Carne asada!....the best of all we did not had to brake the bank...if you are ready to enjoy the best of the best adventure your self to visit this place and enjoy the music ,the best service , the best food ,the cleaner place ,the best Authentic Mexican food .you...
