Casablanca Banquet Hall — Attraction in San Jose

If I could I would do negative ⭐️. I had my daughter 15era here yes it’s amazing hall. But the owners are very rude and super picky I honestly don’t recommend this hall. The owner try to control your event , and they even mention oh “my husband a police office” to intimidate you. The kitchen does not have a stove, and you’re not allowed to use the microwave to heat up anything. The woman bathroom get clogged. Parking is limited. They even questioned my guess because they had tattoos, asked who invited them. Also be ready to pay extra $1000 for they sound equipment, because parentally your Dj and if you have a Banda can not all connect, that can cause a power failure. They do they make you pay $1000 extra for theirs. Also your guess can not start drinking alcohol until after 5pm and they cut you off at 11pm even if you paid for extra hour. They will say anything to book your even, but when it comes to the day of your event they say different. Also they are many homeless people right outside the gate, it’s a bad area. The day before my event a homeless man walk in the parking area and was on drugs and yelling. PLEASE DONT BOOK HERE, IF YOU PLAN TO ENJOY YOUR EVENT. I couldn't wait to share my experience just hours after hosting my two daughters' quince años at Casa Blanca Banquet Hall in San Jose! The event was absolutely wonderful, and the elegance and classic charm of the venue left us in awe. Emik and her husband are incredibly kind and genuine; they treated us like family rather than just customers.

The staff was exceptional, from the sound and lighting technician to the bartender, DJ, waitstaff, and the decorator—everyone played a vital role in making the event seamless and memorable. A special thank you to Emil’s sister-in-law for her fantastic help in putting together the hall and ensuring every detail was perfect. I was extremely pleased with the venue!

The pre-event coordination was excellent to be sure the night went off without a hitch. Options given were clearly meant to help us have a good time and guide us towards what worked best for us.

While we had a much smaller event than they could handle, but the owner (Emik) went out of her way to make sure our guests were taken care of during the event and personally made sure even the food presentation was nice.

The venue itself was a surprise - very nice inside! Great dance floor, sound and light system. Better than many similar sized venues I've been to. I liked that there was room between the dance floor area and bar to allow guests to mingle easily.

Our event didn't include hot food, but I visited the prep area and it was clearly large enough for a caterer to stage whatever is needed (ie, lots of stainless countertops and sinks).
