ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! Caroline was rude and very short with me when I came to pick up my order. I ordered through Uber Eats for pick up. I received the run around for about five minutes and then Caroline comes from the back and asked for my name rudely. I give her my name and then she asks to see my order. I start to pull up my order and order # when a woman not of color comes in and has an order to pick up as well. She stops helping me, asks the lady for her name, the lady replies, she gives her her order and the lady leaves. Meanwhile I am still standing, waiting to be attended to. I ask her why she has to verify my order but the lady who came in after me received her order with the just the mention of her name. She smacks her lips and rolls her eyes and at the point, I’m ready to just receive a refund. She slams my order onto the pick up table and then I ask for a copy of the receipt. As she is walking away ( rude customer service etiquette when speaking to a customer) she says with an attitude that you guys don’t hand out receipts, you keep them. I then check my order and then leave enraged. I am extremely appalled by the treatment I received at this location and do not foresee myself eating at this...
Read moreWithout a doubt Togos sandwiches has to be the best large sandwich shop chain I have experienced. I rate Togos first, firehouse subs second, and Jersey Mike's third. The food is always fresh. Bread is soft and tasty, and the combination of veggies, condiments and what would consider top meats and sauces. While I was in San Jose, I traveled to one of the Togos. Of course this iconic sandwich store was founded by San Jose State University. Hungry college students. Need I say more. On this day I ordered the triple dip sandwich on regular white bread. Meats included, pastrami, roast beef and ham . With just a slight sprinkling of au jus. The meats were soaked in a bowl of au jus before being placed on the bread. Of course au jus was provided for dipping. The sauce was not needed. The meats already marinated in au jus were sufficient for a fantastic tasty sandwich meal. July 1, 2025. Visited my E. Capitol expressway shop. This time tried the number 49 pastrami dip. Personalized the sandwich with tomatoes and red onion on top of the juicy marinated pastrami and chipotle sauce. With the au jus, delicious as ever. Eventually I will sample the whole...
Read moreI rarely review chain stores, but in this case, I wanted to give a shout-out to a few of the workers who were working the afternoon shift on December 17th. I had ordered online, but didn't know where to pick up my order. Upon looking a little lost, they directed me to the right place and told me that next time, step up to the counter. The staff was helpful and seemed like they were enjoying working together. As one who has worked in food service for many years, I am sure many customers make the experience unpleasant or blame workers for corporate policies. Because of the staff, will be back to get...
