Where do I start. How about walking through door, your greeted with a very strange smell. I'm with my dad and he says "can you smell that?". It was such an odd smell, I couldn't pin it down. We ordered, staff are disengaged, don't care and really appear to be physically there spending their time to collect. paycheck. We ordered, process was straightforward. As we were waiting we asked for cups for water, 2 different staff members didn't understand, the 3rd finally offered us water cups. Received our food, sat down, realized I didn't want to touch my food without washing my hands and WOW, Yikes. As I get closer to the bathroom I smell the sewer that my dad is referring to. I get into the bathroom, it's dark, foreboding, dirty, moldy and stinks something fierce. The bathroom had a warm, humid, bizarre sewer smell, it was bad bad bad. Checkthe pictures I've attached, it's seriously disgustingly unhealthy and it's spilling over into the kitchen and dining area. The food was OK, but the owners clearly don't care about the customer experience, the place is dirty. My dad pointed out the paper towl holder behind the cashier was holding on by one nail and tilted and a bizarre angle ready to fall off. If there were ever a case of restaurant slumlord, this would be the posterchild. AGain the food was OK, but there was just a bad bad vibe here. Will never go back. Read moreI stopped by for some Chili, Son of the Baconator Meal and Frosty. Let me just say how disappointed I was. My burger was very bland. No flavor and heavily sauced. It was dropping out of the wrapper before I opened it. Fries were delicious I will say. But the biggest disappointment, NO CHILI!!! I understand that it's after midnight but NO CHILI?
The one thing I cannot stand... "ANYTHING ELSE?" I cannot emphasize to GM's how important it is to not ever say this to your drive thru guest. Your rushing the order and it puts your customers in a rush or even worse, not wanting to order and drive off! Your order taker missed multiple opportunities to upsell and suggestive sell. I saw Queso Fries, Taco Sslad, and was interested in the pretzel bun so that could've been an upgrade. Retraining your staff should be priority!
Lastly, having me pull away from the window so ticket times are low is a false adjustment on your ratings. The H.M.E. reports how long a car sits in your drive thru. I honestly sat for 11 minutes. Along with the other 3 cars in front of me and one being a Doordash. Now, because they gave me my frosty first at the window and that is desert, it was melted by the time I got to eat and finish my food. As shown in the receipt, after being very specific that I need one combo and two sandwiches on the side, I was asked multiple times what size of drinks and fries for the two on-the-side sandwiches. When I had to say, "madam, I think you were confused", the host (says Juan on the receipt, but as a customer I cannot tell if the person taking the order and the one delivering the order is the same person, but it's 2: 37 pm on June 17, 2023 and it was a lady with dark skin and glasses on) seemed finally got it and asked me to move on.
After making the payment, she asked me to "slide my car over". Thinking that I might have ordered a big meal and that they might have someone physically deliver the food outside, I followed the instructions. A few minutes later, she stuck out a hand out of the window behind my vehicle with my order so I had to back up my car to get my takeout food. I cannot help thinking "what did she ask me to slide over for?" To get time for spitting into our food or to increase the odds that I bumped into the vehicle behind us?"
