El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano

the cashier named Gerardo made me post a review. human resources should note the young gents good enthusiasm and excellent attention to customer requests. as i dined and overheard how good he dealt with customers in spanish and english i was like wow this pollo loco restaurant should have a shining review.

everythings clean and salsa bar looks good and replenished. dine area is clean. they got customers and their food came out quick.

every item that went on my tostada chicken salad was fresh and tasty.

i would drive an extra mile or two to avoid any other pollo loco in the neighborhood.

Lame. The food was great, like always. The staff on the other hand had no knowledge regarding the web app and its function. In spite of the giant sign less than 3vfeet from our cashiers head, pleading with this average customer to download the app, scan the barcode and receive a free pollo bowl.

My dinner companion was disappointed to learn that, #1 the staff had no information on or regarding accessing the promotion and then to make things more insulting, refused to honor the offer with the insistence he buy another complete meal because because the meal he HAD JUST BOUGHT 5 minutes earlier, DIDNT COUNT.

First time back in months. Stopped going because something wrong on every order. I order thru the app. Today I ordered new Shredded Chicken Cheese Bowl. It does not come with sour cream or cabbage, but they put it in there. Looked disgusting. I asked them to fix and the lady in the kitchen actually argued to everyone that's how it comes. They made a new one still had the cabbage in the melted cheese and bean liquiid. So gross I didn't eat it. It's how this location goes. They blame you for the order being...
