Had the most unpleasant encounter with the employee Emma. We ordered food and the food was made wrong. So we called to try to speak to someone about the issue. Emma who was the cook, answered the phone and told my partner to eat like a dog. She then calls him back with the number blocked. I decided to call the store to speak to the Manager to handle to issue, Emma answers the phone and starts the threaten me saying she will the call the police. This women does not know me personally but was extremely disrespectful over the phone. I kept getting interrupted while I was trying to say the issue was our food being made wrong. She was making it a personal problem, and being disrespectful. I was kind on the phone and said i was more than happy to return to the store and show them the food but she threatened to call the cops on us for no reason. I went to the location in San Juan and when i mentioned to the employees there what happened they said this lady is known to have this type of behavior and apologized. If business hours are posted up to 7:00 pm tell me why a person who called at 6:50 to see if restaurant is still open canāt be served at 6:53 pm? I was told there would no longer be phone orders but walk-ins only. I walked in three minutes after my call.
The young āmanagerā there said the restaurant were closed. Yet, there were at least five customers waiting for their orders. I told him that I called three minutes before. Oh boy, he did not happy at all. He went to the register, punched the register with heavy fingers and contempt and said, āFine! Iāll take your order but we are closed!ā
