Café con Cé — Restaurant in San Juan

The cafe is in the corner of this eating area and is lovely. I enjoyed a strawberry matcha which was good and very tasty but "earthy," so I added sugar to brighten it up a bit.

My friends tried the carrot cake and another one of their pretty pastries and definitely seemed to enjoy them.

Cafe con Ce does have its own small separate patio area for people to sit, as well as the shared patio near the entry. The shared patio area is connected to a few other restaurants including a Poke bowl spot, so this is a nice spot to mix and match different options and has plenty seating.

The shared patio area does have the cutest, clean and friendly cats around it for you to pet.

I went on a Sunday, early afternoon and parking on the street was not too bad, but some of the street parking signs do have a 1 hour limit.

I came to PR for 2.5 days and came here twice, the coffee was just that good! Cute outdoor area for people to meet up or work, I didn't see any indoor seating in the shop, but there is a bathroom in the general area next to the bar next door. 5 star coffee!

Now.. the little pastries on the other hand, expensive and not worth the price. I ordered the tiniest little pecan pie that was ever made, only to find out it was $5.75 after ordering it - no wonder the prices for the pastries were not advertised because otherwise I would have waited until I traveled to Texas for some pecan pie. So FYI, coffee is great, but idk if the pastries...

What can I say, we went every day. The baristas were amazing. They took time, when it wasn't busy, to talk about their coffee and cafe philosophy. They were interested in assuring we enjoyed our experience. The baked treats are delicious. I love the art and vibe. Outside, they care for a colony of feral and semi ferals. They even get them fixed and vaccinated. I miss their cappuccino's already.
