Today we ate at Ginga Japanese BBQ and Sushi... I'm telling you, You HAVE to try it !!! The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service were spectacular!! For an appetizer, we ordered the Wagyu tartar, it was delicious and refreshing. To eat, we went for something lighter, so we ordered sushi. We decided to go in for the best of the house and ordered the Daniel Roll in honor of its creator, Daniel Wen, It's a super refreshing roll that tastes exquisite; you must try it. But the Volcano Roll was something else, that explosion of flavors!!! I'm not a fan of Crab at room temperature, but this roll will change your mind. Between the seafood and the combination of flavors, it's something spectacular that you definitely have to try. For drinks, I opted for the Leeches Margarita, and it was so delicious and refreshing—a drink that wasn't too sweet and unusual as you dont see thats around much. Hubby opted for the Japanese whiskeys and order two different ones, but he says the TENJAKU is something else, is definitely the go to .. Anyway, everything was spectacular!! When you're thinking about eating something delicious, give it a try and stop by Calle Loiza, I'm sure you'll love it. P.S. Next week I'll tell you about the Japanese BBQ! I really...

First time at this place and if not the best, probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in my life. The food was amazing, the drinks were out of this world, and the service and attention by our server, Tanisha, and the entire staff (the entire staff on duty constantly checked up on us) was the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone truly went out of their way to make sure nothing went sideways during our dinner. We were celebrating my companion’s birthday (we mentioned it to the staff) and without asking they gave a us a complimentary fried cheesecake dessert with a candle to sing happy birthday. We had old fashioned Japanese whiskey mixed with miso soup as drinks, they were mind blowing. Pricing was reasonable and the quality of the food was top tier. The skirt stake was perfectly seasoned and cooked, came out juicy and tender. The sushi (Himalaya roll) was heavenly. Highly recommend this place if you’re in San Juan and want the total package of service, atmosphere, food quality. Will definitely...

I rarely leave reviews…but I had to share so others can enjoy the experience! I had an amazing first visit to this restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a staff that’s not only kind and respectful but also very knowledgeable about the menu. They gave us great recommendations, and the food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The red meats were superb—especially the skirt steak (churrasco), which was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

A special shout-out to Tanisha and Samir, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable—they’re truly wonderful people. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly...

I had an unforgettable experience at Ginga Sushi & Japanese BBQ! The food was beyond amazing. I started with a spicy salmon roll—super fresh and perfectly balanced—and the dumplings, which were hands down the best I’ve ever had. I also grilled two cuts of meat, and each one was tender, and flavorful. But the real surprise star? Their butter and garlic sauce—absolutely to die for. It took everything to the next level. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, and the ambiance was spot-on: cozy, inviting, and beautifully done. Ginga is the kind of place you remember and come back to again and again. Can’t recommend it enough!
