Denny's — Restaurant in San Leandro

Don't trust these places people I'm going to describe an experience I had in that place I used to go there but one time me and my girlfriend noticed inside of the iced tea cup a loogie spit in halfways of the cup the ice was really covering it and I ended up finding out about it because I decided to scoop the ice out of the cup and that's when I seen it I even told my girlfriend what the hell is this so I asked the guy which they all act like they so friendly but I asked one the one that served as the food about it and he got nervous but he did see it but he was acting like he did not know what it was and I told him that's a damn Luigi spit man I don't know who did it but there was a damn Luigi spit in my iced tea cup and that's that and to tell you the truth I've been watching the news there is people that do this type of stuff in the food even worse so make your own judgment make sure you search what's inside of your food cuz there's really people that do this type of nasty stuff and I'm never going there again because of that and this is what happened to me like I said make your own research the manager called me telling me to remove this review out I did take it off but I thought about it I said no because I don't want nobody else to face the same situation like me whoever did that needs to be fired there's no excuses for some nasty...

Around 4am we went to get some food got two burgers meals and two drinks and one thing of chicken wings when we got back we realize the wings where not there we try calling but no one answered at all so I said we call in the morning we called 9:30 am some girl answered we asked to speak to the manager SAM got on the phone we told him that we did not receive or wings he said bring the receipt we mentioned that the guy didn’t give us one he went blaming us and saying they always give to us receipt or they staple it on the bag again there was no receipt on the bag either why do I have to lie about missing just wings ?? He did not know how to handle the situation he HUNG UP ON US then we called back the girl answered again and lied and said he wasn’t there I’m like we just talked to him she didn’t know what to say so she put on some other guy that wasn’t Sam and he trying saying he wasn’t there and we said again we just talked to him he like oh you did let me find him and SAM came on and started saying he going call the police I’m like what all we trying to do is resolve this so we can get our money back for the wings SAM should not be no manger he don’t know how to be one and handle problems he had people lie saying he wasn’t there I will not go there no more I was better off going...

The last time I was here was maybe four years ago during a busy lunchtime. But during this visit, it was around 5 AM & I was eager for some hearty breakfast after a trip to the nearby Kaiser Permanente ER. It was nice & quiet at this early time with only a couple of other tables occupied, so it was a peaceful, soothing visit. My server was friendly, courteous, & responsive. I ordered one of the breakfast platters (steak, hash browns, two eggs, choice of bread) plus the free-refill orange juice - all of which were delivered to my table under 10 minutes. So I really appreciate the fact that Denny's is open 24/7 for dine-in at this location so close to the hospital, & that service is prompt. The only thing that disappointed me was not being able to order a cup of the soup of the day, which my server told me was only available during certain hours. I hope they make all the menu items available 24/7. Other than that, I was actually pleasantly surprised by my Denny's experience, given some bad reviews I've read here & there. I like the service & food - at least in this location. May it stay that way, & I will definitely come...
