I was looking for somewhere close by to get Galbi Jjim and found it here, and really enjoyed the dish and banchan we got as well. The dish is huge, and has a nice depth of complexity in the sauce, which soaks into all of its accompaniments. I especially loved the carrots, which had completely absorbed the sweetness and richness of the broth. The short ribs were great as well! There were six huge meat chunks, bones and all, to go at. The meat was not the tenderest Galbi Jjim I have had but no matter, a pair of scissors had it cut down to easily manageable bites which I then had between the delicious and varied banchan. Also loved the seafood pancake here, nice and crispy to the edges and soft and fluffy at the center.
The service was great and it was quieter on a Saturday night, which I love since I can just relax and eat. What stood out to me as well is that the restaurant is everything I recall about some fun trips to Korea- its staff, KPop ads, Korean news running on the TV... all said, very authentic food and atmosphere with great...

Was greeted & seated promptly. The waitress was very kind. Even gave me the intel on the wings. Which was very insightful. Everything from.food to sides were on point. The tofu kimchie soup was so flavorful. The chicken wings were delicious. I truly enjoyed my meal. They didn't sit me and foget me. They actually tapped in with me to check how I was doing, and if I was enjoying my meal. Things like that are greaty appreciated. The only thing I would change is my seating location. Breezy day so when the door was opened my napkins would catch flight and I was hit with a chilly breeze. Other than that my food was a hard...
Read moreSolid, delicious Korean restaurant. Their banchan are varied and seasoned deliciously. They make their kimchi jjigae with nicely aged kimchi! Tastes almost like mugunji. Their seafood pancake is full of seafood. The LA galbi is generous and really delightfully chewy. The samgyetang is rich and full of wonderfully textured sticky rice. The dolsot bibimbap comes out sizzling - there’s so much crispy rice on the bottom, it’s amazing. The service is friendly and attentive. Warm, homey, this is the place to have a comforting...
