Quesadilla Gorilla — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

It’s truly one of the worst run restaurants I’ve been to which sucks because the food is good.

They’ve messed up my order 5 separate times. One of the times the kid was absolutely zooted and messed it up 4 times in a row. He came out and clarified my order probably 6 times throughout the process and still kept bringing the wrong thing out. Felt like I was in a curb episode tbh.

When you walk in, there is never an employee at the counter. It usually takes them a few minutes to come out. Super weird vibe in there.

Tonight the girl finally came out from the back but I was finishing up placing my order on their ipad. A few minutes later she comes back out and says I’m so sorry we are all out of soyrizo tonight. When she was trying to process my refund she couldn’t figure out how, but if she was out here to take my order we wouldn’t have had this issue because she could have told me they were out before i paid. Then she says i can just make it for you. I ask her what she means i thought they were out. She says well we have it I would just have to make it because we don’t have any ready.

I definitely don’t blame her because whoever is running this place doesn’t care enough to give her the resources to do things correctly. They probably won’t last long which...

Not open the hours they’re supposed to be. We called ahead of time because a friend of ours loves this place and we wanted to go for her birthday yesterday (a Friday). Not only did we call ahead of time and confirmed that the restaurant will be open until 10, but then we walked in a bit after 8 past sign that noted the hours were until 10 and the same guy that talked to us on the phone told us the restaurant was closed (TWO HOURS early). Then lied and said he thought we were talking about coming in that same day when we were explicitly clear about coming in yesterday. Awful awful service. We were literally turned away. And it was nearly two hours before closing time anyway according to the sign we were standing right next to! No explanation either. Very weird.

We ended up going across the street to Roku Ramen and had a great meal and they stayed open past closing time for us and even played us happy birthday over...
