I recently visited the Bush's Chicken at San Marcos and had a terrible experience. While trying to secure the drinks in the car, a worker named Adrianna rudely rushed my mother for payment. My mother attempted to pay the $35.14 total with $50.25 when Adrianna yelled the total at her again while my mother tried to hand me the drinks. To make matters worse, Adrianna returned, informing us that she had entered the wrong amount into the register. She returned with $14.11, claiming she had given us the correct change of $15.11, but we only had $14.11. My mother and I were confused about how she arrived at that incorrect total. My mother counted out the money showing her we only had $14.11. She took our money and went back into Bush's. We assumed to get our correct change. Minutes go by and she comes back saying is there anything else we need. My mother told her we needed our correct change. My mother receives the money and she says the money is right there. My mother again tells her that there is Only $14 not, $15 like we need. Adrianna then shouts at my mother saying that that is her $15.11 in change. This incident greatly upset me as I do not tolerate my elderly mother being yelled at. I requested a manager to see why this girl could not count. The manager came out, and the first thing she said to my mother was, "We are too busy right now and I am not opening the register to count it to see if we actually gave you the incorrect change." This dismissive attitude from the manager was incredibly unprofessional and further exacerbated the situation. This upset my mother and me as we now know that this young girl was being told by her manager not to give us our correct change! To add insult to injury, the manager also remarked that it was just a dollar and that she gave us the dollar out of her pocket! No one asked for her to do that. We do not need her money. We just wanted our correct change back. That is all! I do not like the insinuation that my mother and I are some lowlifes who would fight over a dollar! I informed the manager that it was not about the dollar that we had a problem, it was that from the moment we drove up we were being treated very rudely, and now we were going to have to lose some of our money because some girl can't put in the right money amount. And the manager decides she is too busy and won't open the register to do a recount. We will no longer be taking our money to this establishment, and I recommend that no one else do either. This incident left a very negative impression on our dining experience. I would strongly advise management to address this issue and ensure that all employees are trained to provide respectful and patient service to customers, as well as accurately handle financial transactions. I also urge them to review their customer service policies and ensure they can handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.

I pulled up at the drive thru 10 minutes BEFORE closing, and immediately was told that they were out of tenders and that everything they did have was old. When I asked how old, the girl couldn’t tell me. THAT’S how old it was. So I asked if there was any way I could get 2 tenders, because that’s the whole reason I went there, and she went inside and a new girl came out. This new girl told me that they had dropped tenders for the car ahead of me, but didn’t know if there would be enough for me, so I asked if they could just drop a few more, I only needed two. After talking in circles, the girl went back inside for a few minutes, and came back out to tell me that I could get my tenders. THANK GOD. Read moreFirst time in. Establishment was clean and didn’t feel or smell like grease. Communication with General Manager on shift & employees was exceptional. Staff working together all moving, taking out trash bf it was flowing over and restocking, making tea and omg..washing hands. As soon as you walk in they were so inviting this was more than a 5 star rating. Food was hot, came out correct and I could not be more happier. It was almost like watching Hell’s Kitchen with organization, teams work & talking out orders. Orders were thoroughly checked bf being sent out. Drinks had names on them and big box orders did as well. I can’t say enough good things about my dine in visit today. I am not sure what the blond lady GM was today but she is definitely a good shift leader right down to who was on break and who was to go on break. We will be back.
