There are no words in the English dictionary that can explain or express my experience at this water Burger location. The service was dumb theverything was dumb. I've attempted 3 to try and order the buffalo ranch chicken salad! THREE TIMES I have tried to order this salad, AND THREE TIMES YOU HAVE FAILED! I repeated my order three times, and the associate just repeated back "Buffalo Ranch," so I repeated "yes the salads"!! THE SALADS!!!. So I paid for it. I get up to get my food and notice a small bag. I let them know that I had ordered two salads. They corrected me a said two sandwiches. I let them know that it was intact salads. There was no apology. No, let us make this right for you. Just to hold on, they will make it now. I waited 20 minutes for my salad. 20mins. On top of what I had already waited. When Jose the Manager I am presumeing came out he said sorry about the wait. Nothing about their mix up, no we'll make sure to do better next time. NOTHING! When i asked if i could get a copy of the receipt that had the survey info on it and the receipt ID to take the survey, he said i was already given one. Told me not all receipts have one, and that what i got had it on there. There is nothing better than feeling then when your voice doesn't matter, and management wants to keep you quiet just to keep a good store rating and to not have their district manager call then. once had waited an 1.5hrs for fires due to miscommunication on their part. Got off night shift me a my friend were craving fries. So we were fine waiting. Yes, I take full responsibility. I should have cut my losses with this location and never came back. Am I overreacting, probably. But I am done with this location and possibly Whataburger in general. How many times from different locations do I have to be disappointed...
Read moreArrived at 8am, hangry from driving all night. Noticed it was full of regulars as it was a lively place. No one in line, but waited 6 minutes to get waited on, despite the manager and one waitress each telling me "I will be with you in a minute." Ordered a regular burger, no meal and nothing special, as I'm in a hurry to get back on the road to NC. Sat down with my number. Waited. Waited. Manager passes by me at least twice. Waited. Waited. 12 min later, I'm still waiting...hangrier and mad. I go up to the front and when I make eye contact with the manager I start to speak and she interrupts me with "I will check on your order." She comes out with a slightly warm sandwich and I started to say that it's been over 15 min for a single burger and she interrupts me again with, "Your number was 65 and you had 62 on your table. The numbers got screwed up!" No offer for anything for their error. No apology. If I wasn't so hungry I would have made her give me my money back. I'm 15 minutes away now, having had my almost cold burger and I'm still mad...so it wasn't just the "hangriness". Perhaps as a manager, instead of having the excuses for your errors, you give the customer a chance to tell you what's wrong so you can actually fix it to BOTH of your satisfaction. Frankly, if she had just listened to me complain and she apologized...I am sure that would have made my burger taste even better. So if you are a regular...please go by as there is lots of laughter and warm conversation. If you are passing through, go down one more exit to the next...
Read moreLong line but only one person at the counter, plus a trainee. No ice in either fountain machines ... one had an "out of order" sign, spill-tray was not seated, fluid all over the counter and dripping to the floor.
After we called the staff to attention about the machine being out of ice ... we observed at least 12 personnel in the kitchen. I observed the manager leave the kitchen to another room, while the staff seemed so disorganized. And still no attention to the lack of ice, nor any staff bussing the dining area.
Our meal arrives via a staff, the meal is in a bag and she is swinging it back and forth as she walks amongst the tables. She hands the bag to us and then asks if we wanted any ketchup. She brings some containers to us, not using a seving tray like the other establishments do in other Whataburger Restaurants. Then we notice my wife's burger is smashed and the bun is moldy. I bring it to a staff member who is trying to clean the fountain area. She asks how my wife wants her replacement burger ... they get the order wrong and its brought to us being swung back and forth as the same staff member did with our initial meal. She just hands the bag to me, does not say a word and just turns to leave.
The kitchen seemed so disorganized, the manager is still out of the area and there is a long line in the Drive-Through.
