The food was out of this world! Not pictured was the AMAZING tres leches and coconut flan!! Even if you are full when you leave, grab some desserts to go, you’ll thank yourself later. The hand made tortillas are beautiful, rich and delicious. The fillings are incredible with some of your average Tex-Mex fillings to more internal Mexican tacos that let you travel without ever getting on a plane. The tres leches is rich and creamy, the flan is perfectly cooked. If you’re wanting quality tacos and quality Mexican food and you find yourself going anywhere else in San Marcos, you’re wasting your time. Eat here, get it to go, doesn’t matter because you’ll find yourself eating one of the best meals.

Great tasting tacos. Had the barbacoa which was very flavorful, carnitas was a very filling taco, shrimp Baja was delicious. My wife had the carnitas and pastor. She did not share the pastor lol. My 4 year old enjoyed the barbacoa and carnitas. Ate them all too quickly for pictures. Update: went back the second time this week for the mole and it was very flavorful. Everything has been great that I’ve eaten here.

The Patos is a cozy little spot right in the heart of town. I stopped by for breakfast and tried their breakfast tacos — simple but tasty, and at a good price. The sauces they served alongside were flavorful and added a nice kick. It’s a small shop with a local charm, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby.

Extremely good. Lots of flavor which is honestly lacking these days. The carnita and cochinita tacos are amazing. Lots of flavor, juicy, packed with meat and extremely delicious. They have yet to disappoint! The tinga tacos are also pretty decent, not as flavorful as the other two but still worth the buy and yummy. The carne asada is not worth it, while not bad it isnt great quality and lacks flavor compared to everything else so dont bother with it when there are so much better options. We usually get the queso as well and while its basic queso we like to mix the salsa in it. They have specials everyday as well. Monday right now is chimichungas, tuesday is tacos, wednesday is burgers, thursday i believe was margaritas, and friday is enchiladas. Im definately going to be trying a chimicunga ans enchiladas at some point. The workers are extremely nice and who i assume is the owner is super friendly and helpful. While the restaurant interior isnt anything fancy its well kept. There is also patio seating for anyone who wants to...

This place is brand new in san marcos and this shopping center is filled with amazing food and Patos is the newest fantastic addition. We went for breakfast and the host was kind and welcoming the atmosphere was so nice and it was cute inside. the food was amazing. im alright with spicy foods but normal kind of eh about it but these sauces made me understand why people enjoy spicy stuff. the flavors are so well balanced and everything is so fresh i had the baja shrimp and tried the salsa verde and a++++. cant recommend this place enough, seriously please go to this place it has to stick around i think it's a new...
