Subway — Restaurant in San Rafael

I used to go here quite often, maybe up to once a week, grabbing some sort of sandwich on the way home from work. That all stopped about a year ago when I ordered a sandwich, and realized when I got home that the bread the sandwich was made on was not totally baked.

The dough of the bread at the bottom in the middle was raw, and I did not realize the problem until I was almost all the way through eating the sandwich. Thankfully I did not get sick from eating the raw dough, but it thoroughly turned me off Subway sandwiches from then on.

I raised this concern with Subway corporate but did not have any follow up of any real substance.

My experiences before this trip I had no complaints (hence the 2 stars), but I will not be...

The owners of this subway must be very cheap the location hasn’t been updated in 15 plus years that was acceptable but the employees cannot get a sandwich order correct for the life of them sometimes. This I would get except I mobile order so it’s very clear and also I order THE SAME THING EVERY SINGLE TIME! Also the guy that runs the shop on weekends is very unsanitary and throws together quite the shim sham of a sandwich Edit: just had another horrible experience at this location the franchise owner Lucky has no customer service experience whatsoever and decides arguing with customer is a better path than just refunding food that...

We placed an online order via website for 5 sandwiches and received a confirmation email that they would be ready at 11:50am. My wife went to pick them up and the person behind the counter said that they did not have any record of it. She showed them the confirmation email and the tracking number but the counter person did not want to have anything to do with it and would not make the sandwiches to correct the issue. We got charged for the transaction and currently notifying our bank to cancel the transaction. We will NOT be patronizing this location any longer and got awesome sandwiches down the road at Scotty Market...
