STOP GOING TO THIS BAGEL SHOP - CALL FOR OTHER BAGEL SHOP OWNERS/SMALL BUSINESSES for ANOTHER BAGEL SHOP.
I have been coming to this bagel shop for over 3 years now. Over the time I have noticed a few things have changed and the owner does not really care about customers anymore.
They stopped keeping Siracha or any kind of sauce for having with the bagel, and the staff tells us these are owners decisions.
They stopped keeping the cups to drink water near the water, it is closer to the cashier and today there are no water cups. And the staff told me to buy a cup for 25c. I asked them why would I buy a cup for 25c to drink water, you have kept the water, and do you expect customers to get the water bottle to drink the water. The staff told me, the owner has not given new water cups so they do not have a choice.
I feel the staffs working on the shop are trying to do the best based on what the owner provides, but the owner really does not care about what the customer really thinks and experiences.
This attitude is probably because, this particular shop location is very promising, next to Target, Tesla super charger, Whole foods, most people in San Ramon come here daily or weekly and the owner does not care, maybe he/she thinks customers will show up anyways.
This is a tough decision - but I will avoid going to this shop...
Read moreWent in with my family for lunch and had the worst customer service experience ever. The two Hispanic women working the counter had horrible customer service. My family inquired about the lux (what ingredients it came with) and she was told to look at the pictures. When i went in to place my order i heard the younger Hispanic lady tell the older Hispanic lady that my family was lying and that she explained things correctly. It was then when i interrupted them and told them that they were wrong about how the events occurred. The i older Hispanic man working the counter was polite and tried to smooth things out but the older lady interrupted and stated that she was counseling the younger lady. I told her that it did not appear that she was. They were talking in Spanish and the younger Hispanic lady was just trash talking. I told them that if they were to counsel the young lady to do it somewhere were customers don't here then and cannot here and understand there conversation. The older lady's reply was that she would not be told what to do. I kindly requested that my order be cancelled add went somewhere where my business would be welcomed. I will never go back due to those ladies behavior and rudeness. They should have apologized instead of trying to argue with me. Over all ratting,...
Read moreThis place makes an awesome bagel sandwich. The bagel is incredibly flavorful and toasted to perfection, the ingredients are fresh, and the prices are really fair.
I got the California Club on the Asiago bagel. The California Club includes turkey, bacon, and cheese, but I decided to forego the cheese because I was already getting the cheese bagel. Their produce selection is great, they give you lettuce, pickles, tomato, pepperoncinis, red onion, sprouts, and cucumber. This was one of the best sandwiches that I have had in recent memory.
The sandwich came out to $6.75 flat which is extremely fair for the size of the sandwich (HUGE!). The California Club is considered to be a premium sandwich so it is a little more expensive. There are other sandwiches for $5.75 or less. The folks at Bagel Street are also extremely speedy which is nice when you're on your lunch break.
If there is one drawback, it is that the sandwich is very big with all the ingredients and bit slippery. You will probably need to sit down to eat this sandwich and make sure that you have some napkins ready. I would also like to note that they have bagel rolls which look incredible and seem like they would lend themselves to sandwiches a bit better and they are only a fifty...
