EggHead Cafe — Restaurant in San Ramon

This review is for the matcha latte only since I haven’t tried their food. I saw a couple of other reviews praising the matcha and I wanted to say, if you like authentic Japanese matcha, this is not for you. It’s clear it’s made from one of those matcha + sugar powders that is extremely inauthentic and only on the menu to attract customers. I could barely get through a few sips...

Food tastes decent but seriously… $15 for an “ultimate” egg sandwich with caramelized onion and avocado for 2 slices of onion and one slice of avocado. Give me a break. Compare their advertised sandwich vs what I got. And the basic sandwich for “eggs with chives” found a single chive in the eggs. Was really hoping to have a good breakfast sandwich place here but...

Been goin there for their matcha latte cuz it's done to my liking. More recently I tried their Hojicha latte and it's become my new ❤️. Today I decided to try tater tots cuz it called for me and it turned out so good, crispy and not oily, so very yummy! Love it! Will continue to be back for my drinks and try other goodies....
