Our first visit to Pakka Local was truly memorable, thanks to the warm welcome and expert recommendations from one of the owners, Jignesh Patel. He suggested we try their local Andhra specialties, including Dibbarotte and Pesarattu with Puri. These dishes were bursting with authenticity and offered an extraordinary taste experience that left us delighted.

We also indulged in their specialty dosas, such as the Ghee Podi Rost Dosa and Kal Dosa. Each dosa was a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing unique tastes that set them apart.

The standout feature of our experience at Pakka Local was the excellent freshness and delightful taste of every dish we tried. From the ingredients to the presentation, everything exuded quality and passion.

New restaurant in town… has some kinks to workout but the staff is extremely humble and the food was really good!

Ghee idli - good idlis, the star for me were the 4 types of chutney it came with. Somewhat spicy for toddlers but really flavorful (9/10)

Corn Manchurian - typical ketchupy flavor. 7/10

Cut mirchi - 6.5/10 spicy and crispy. Served with raw onions. Would be next level if served with some shredded carrots, cilantro, and a dash of chat masala. Perhaps add a tamarind chutney to accompany? It was a little dry and the chutney didn’t do much.

Tandoori Paneer - 10/10. Extremely soft paneer. Loved every bite of it. Will def come back for it. Aptly seasoned.

Dal Tadka - 10/10. Simple dal; well executed.

Cheese naan - good for children. Our toddler enjoyed dipping it in the dal and eating jt :)

Veg biryani - 10/10. Extremely flavorful. Rice was cooked to perfection. Veggies were seasoned beautifully. Accompanied by salan and raita.

Qubani ka meetha - 10/10. First time tasting it. Good mix of sweet and sour! Enjoyed it with a scoop of ice cream.

Rasmalai - 9/10; needed a few more pieces but flavors were bang on!

Meetha pan - 9/10; good mouth freshener!

Bar opened a few days ago so they were still experimenting with the drinks. Very open to feedback; did send a drink or two back and they fixed it brought new ones out promptly. Staff also brought out a drink just for us to taste…. They genuinely were proud of the food they were putting up, and rightfully so!

Would go back again. May this establishment see a ton of success and keep up...

Updating my review. Varun , owner of pakka local called and he was super courteous and very understanding. He also took appropriate actions necessary by letting go of the rude manager and chef who mixed up the food. I really appreciate the actions taken and will definitely give pakka local another chance !

I would give 0 or less star if possible le -WORST SERVICE EVER for a normal / average food. First time I ordered chola batura - it was tasty but they gave me some one else's order along with it and charged me also. I had to call and let them know to refund my money.

Second time - I ordered few items , then I remembered I had to order more so I did a second order. To pick up the order I sent my teen daughter inside .. they gave her only a small bag with second ordered items but charged full price for all of it. When I sent her again saying everything is not there - the person in the counter yelled at her and asked her to bring the bag again to check and followed her outside. Then I went in with the bag- he was still not convinced and started yelling at me saying I am lying and the bag was opened ( I had opened it to check if all items were there) - this went on for 10 mins before the lady who took my order came out and told him there is another bag sitting in the counter for me!

He did not even have the courtesy to check or ask anyone about it and blamed me and my kid as if we are food thieves ! Shame on them for behaving like this!
