First off, let me say that if you are coming here, it is for beer. For the love of craft beer. Don't come expecting to watch the game, or get some pub style food, just some incredible beer. Also, the cheapest you are going to pay is about $6 but that is a steal for the beers you will taste here.
One sunny Sunday afternoon I sat down at the bar at Post No Bills. I didn't exactly know what I wanted to drink since, in a place like this, I was determined to try something new and I enjoy most styles of beer. The bartender asked a few questions about my beer preferences and then poured me 4 tastes of beers on tap into re-purposed baby food jars. Honestly that didn't help because all 4 were delicious. I did wind up settling on a collaboration between DogFish Head and Sierra Nevada breweries but what this really demonstrates is the passion and interest for beer as well as the friendly service you are likely to find here. The afternoon ended chatting with the winner of the Big Sur marathon and playing with wind up penguins that raced across the top of the bar, delivering our tips to the cash register.
The lineup of beers on tap is always changing and there is an extensive collection of interesting brews for sale in bottle (or can) which can be purchased and consumed in house or taken with you. If you and some friends would like to sample the brews of truly passionate brewers this is the place for you. I know I...

Owner Kai and the rest of his ābeertendersā offer a Cheers-like atmosphere among the regulars, always friendly and open for good conversation. Post has a rotating array of taps with something for everyone. In a world currently dominated by IPAās, Post No Bills always has an eclectic variety, no matter what youāre interested in. And if the taplist doesnāt thrill your gorilla, thereās probably over two hundred selections in cans and bottles. They have a nice patio for warmer days and Iāve never seen the bathrooms less than clean. They regularly have food trucks outside to help sober up if youāve overestimated your alcohol to blood level ratio! And every month they have a tap takeover, usually offering special to go four packs, coupled with a draft and collectors glass for a little over $20. There are tvās available for game day and Happy Hour offerings every day but Saturday. The only negative is that the place does get packed on the weekends, but it honestly only adds...

The beer selection is large and runs the gamut. They also have a decent wine selection. I enjoyed the hazy on tap as well as a couple different sours. I also tried a 13.5% oak-barrel-aged beer that was pretty out there and heavy. My German friend was surprised by all the German-stylized coasters and glasses.
The bartender was pretty cool. He was easygoing and funny, and gave some nice pointers about the beer. This spot also has a huge bottle/can selection and does growlers too. I have to say this is one of the most eclectic, high-quality tap rooms Iāve been to in...
