Not a bad spot to enjoy the beach. But if you're looking for sand dunes this isn't the best place for that (Ft Ord Dunes is much better), although there is a small dune area with clean sand for kids who love to trek up and down them.
There is also an area with really rocky sand that has too much broken glass and seaglass for it to be comfortable to walk on with bare feet or sandals. There was a single port-a-potty as well.
