I had a day off and we just needed to get out during this crazy pandemic. We kind of drove aimlessly towards Monterey and decided to pull off Hwy 1 here, near Seaside. We always pass by this place and we should have visited sooner. This is a beautiful spot, no facilities where we were, but close to strip mall. Great for walking, enjoying the shore, kicking back and letting kids or dog play. We will be back just to enjoy great CA coastline and weather.

Amazing place for beach view. Has a great view of the Monterey Coast allowing you to see Carmel all the way to Marina. Located just behind the shopping plaza so it it a little secluded but not secluded enough to have a good size parking area. There is also some trash cans and portable toilets near by.

Great place to take the kids to the beach since it's so secluded. People don't often know of the beaches here because it's a trail that is right behind the edgewater shopping plaza. If you want to take a side trip when your out shopping one day then this is the place you need to go for sure!

Not a bad spot to enjoy the beach. But if you're looking for sand dunes this isn't the best place for that (Ft Ord Dunes is much better), although there is a small dune area with clean sand for kids who love to trek up and down them.

There is also an area with really rocky sand that has too much broken glass and seaglass for it to be comfortable to walk on with bare feet or sandals. There was a single port-a-potty as well.

I'm a native Californian and I'm pretty picky about beaches! I wouldn't put this beach on the top of my list but it was a decent, peaceful spot to spend...

This could be a beautiful park. But the 25-year-old Port"a"let at the top of the hill that is overflowing screams poorly managed facilities.. We could build a beautiful park for our disabled and our disabled veterans to visit. We could put a chairlift in and clean public bathrooms. Reimagine & redirect the trail system making it a wonderful park with very little money. Small day use fee would pay it back in a short amount of time.. Sad it's this misused and...

Actually, one of the best spots if you want to get a nice overall view of Monterey and the bay since it's perched on the edge of a cliff. There's even some nice benches and a picnic table to have an awesome picnic with some of the best scenery in the world in the background. Won't have to compete with anyone for the single picnic table either since being high up on the edge of the cliff also makes it quite windy up there as you can tell from all the...
