One of our last beach runs for this trip. Sand city beach. A short walk up from shopping and the mst terminal. It looked to be a bit like people do camp there like homeless you can see burnt places here and there and grafiti. But you can still walk out to water and can visably see the waves much like marina are very erratic. This beach seemed to be more rock cliff than sand dune and also has a ton of sea glass all over. Read moreIf you're looking for a perfect beach to run your dogs around the Monterey area.... this is my favorite. It's still largely undiscovered as most people flock to the more touristy areas which is great for us locals who want to stay away from the crowds.
Our boys love to run and their favorite place is the beach. Watch for the undertow though and there's a lot of glass on this beach. Tons of it washes up on the Shores and have been finely sanded. I'd rename this beach to "Glass Beach".

Read moreMy family and I went to Sand City Beach for a small vacation. It turn out to be a terrible location to visit. There is no parking space to visit the beach. There's only a three hour parking limit so we parked in the three hour zone and got a 300$ ticket for have our car parked facing the opposite direction and having the car locked.
