Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Sand Springs

My daughter and I have been loyal customers to this location since it opened. We will not be going back. On our visit yesterday, we ordered a large cheese pizza and a small Taco pizza. We akways request several packers of taco sauce fir the taco pizza, as it is no good without the sauce. We have never had a problem with this obvious need (who eats mexican food without the sauce?!), but yesterday they only gave us 2 packets...one for each of us to go on an entire pizza. Wgen we asked for more, obviously, we were told we had to pay 35 cents extra per packet! That's, for one, an outrageous price for a tiny packet and, two, it was an insult to loyal customers! I don't know if this is just at this lication or at all stores, but it is a bad business decision! What will they charge for next? . . . straws? We will not be returning until we know this practice has ceased! It may seem like a small thing, but if we don't stand up when we see unreasonable changes, then things only get worse! Taco Bell jn Sand Springs trued this sane thing and list a ton of business before they backed down. Mexican food has to have enough sauce to make it edible! The only way to srop these insane decisions is to change to other businesses. There's plenty of other pizza places to choose from, so, regretfully, goodbye Mazzio's. It was nice...

This is the 2nd times in 3 weeks I have ordered at this location and my pizza was over cooked, not just the top crust but the bottom, the first time I spent $34 with tip I got the New York 1 topping pizza it was so gross the kids didn’t even like it, I called and got a credit for the pizza only then order the Works yesterday same thing over cooked and it was suppose to be hand toss but it was so thin . I called customer service they offered to remake it and I refused, I don’t trust that these days, so I asked her to call the store manager and let them know how they keep overcooking the pizza, and when she spoke to the manager which was a female, she stated she remembered my order she took it out the oven herself, and it looked fine. So I guess I’m complaining for no reason I don’t want a credit. I don’t want you to remake it, so I’m just lying about how my pizza being overcooked! you can clearly see on the picture the crust looks hard, and the other pieces that I ate were darker than that, people these days can’t take criticism, this location has been going down, so I just won’t be ordering from Mazzio’s anymore . I don't know who was crafting the pizzas the night of Aug 14th, 2025, but they need to be recognized for their outstanding service and care for the food they've prepared. I worked a very long and hard day and my wife had a ordered Mazzio's before I got home without telling me and when I opened the pizza box it was like I was witnessing a glimpse of heaven. The pepperoni pizza was made so well I don't think I've ever seen a better pie. The slices were all perfect and the pepperonis were laid so perfect and portioned just right, made quickly yet efficiently. Upon that first bite you could tell the cheese and sauce was precisely and skillfully placed as well. The thin crust perfectly baked to a delicious crispy crunch on the edges with Zero air bubbles making it look so beautiful. Truly an outstanding masterpiece and such a treat to enjoy. I don't usually write reviews like this, but I couldn't just let this pass without mentioning. Excellent job pizza guy or girl. Thank you so much for making my night that much...
