We came up to Sandusky to go to Cedar Point from the Dayton area, it was a washout day at the park so we decided to find a great pizza place to go that we hadn't been before, this got pretty good reviews so we popped in the early evening. It's a cute little restaurant, plenty of seating. Was seated right away. Our server was fantastic and got our drinks right away. I had a draft blue moon which was super cold and perfect. We ordered the all meat pizza, traditional crust. It came out pretty quickly, which was nice. It's not a traditional cut pizza, these are long rectangular pieces, much like a cheese bread would be cut. Really great pizza though, a lot of toppings and very cheesy! The large pizza was plenty for our party of three, in fact we had a quarter left to take home! The atmosphere is sports bar meets pizza dive, it is definitely a local hangout. Which means it is good! You should give this place a try. We only had the pizza but what we did have was pretty great, and the service was really good! It's a little loud in there when there's a lot of people but that's to be expected from a local hangout.

Absolutely the best customer friendly sports restaurant/bar establishment in Ohio. Matt, Rob, Jane Keech and their staff have done a remarkable job at keeping the Cameo on top of the ever challenging pizza enterprise. Their pizza is unique, with a homemade recipe and has the taste that will have you coming back for more. The rest of the menu is Absolutely amazing great food and service is top notch. The Cameo is for all ages, with video games for kids and large big screen TV'S, every direction you look for your favorite sports team. After you visit the Cameo Pizza in Sandusky, OH. you are guaranteed to be telling all your friends about this amazing place.

My husband and I came here while visiting Cedar Point over a weekend this last May. Our first weekend away without kids for the first time and let me tell you, this place really made it perfect. We were camping in a tent, got rained out with a pretty crazy storm and decided to find a pizza joint. We couldn't have found a better one. Finding the entrance to this place was the hardest part. The pizza and beer were incredible, our bartender was so sweet and the shots were just the icing on the cake! And the price wasn't bad at all either! We are literally planning another trip to Ohio JUST TO EAT & DRINK HERE AGAIN 😍 Thanks Cameo's!

Just an awful experience.

We prefer to support local establishments and wanted to find someplace that would deliver to our hotel. When I called to confirm they would deliver, the girl who answered the phone didn't actually answer my question and persisted in asking for our order. When I explained I was trying to verify they would deliver, she hung up on me.

We went through the online menu and selected what we wanted -- a large sausage and pepperoni pizza, a salad and a 2 liter of soda. I called back at 8:22 pm and a guy answered this time. He took our order and quoted 30 to 60 minutes and said it would be more than $30. It seemed a bit high for pizza, but acceptable if it lived up to the reviews. The odd thing was they don't list prices on their menu.

The pizzeria is 3 miles from the hotel we stayed at. After an hour and no driver, I called back to check on our order. The same guy answered and immediately put me on hold. After 5 minutes, he came back and rudely said the driver was on his way before hanging up in me. The second time that happened in the same evening.

At 9:48 pm (an 1:26 after placing the order), the driver arrives. He requires payment before letting me confirm everything is there. Ok. I ask him if there are disposable forks for the salad in the bag. "Oh yeah!" The plastic bag is tied up so I begin to feel around. No silverware. The driver is trying to leave. I say there doesn't appear to be any silverware. He assures me its in there. I tear the bag open and show him it's not. He begins making excuses. Blames the people back at the pizzeria. I point out how he's also starting to push a half hour late. More excuses. "I didn't answer the phone." "I don't know what they told you about delivery time." "I didn't bag your order."

At this point, the hotel valet can see this is going sideways. I ask for my money back and refuse the order. The driver protests "aw man!" He does return my money.

Simply put -- each one of the three people I dealt with treated me rudely. No, the driver didn't take, make or promise anything about the order. However, having worked in a pizzeria in college as a driver -- it is his responsibility to make sure everything is right before he leaves the store and get it to the customer in a timely manner. Even if he left the store prior to the promised hour delivery time, it took him another half hour to get 3 miles to the hotel. There is no way that pizza was fresh. Regardless, I will never know and never...

We arrived 2 hours before closing as an out of town first time visit. Entrance is in the back with noone to greet you, so our family of 6 walked through and found a server who said it was seat yourself "but we are full right now". There was a larger table by the entrance that just needed cleaned so we were going to head back there when two other servers rudely informed us that even if we sat there we wouldn't be able to be served because they were so busy that they would be closed before we would get our food. 2 HOURS before closing. IF this were indeed the case, they should have placed a sign on the door stating they were not able to accommodate any further patrons. We will not attempt to visit this facility again due to the rudeness we encountered. We found a nice friendly small dine in establishment, Brothers Pizza, which was more than willing...
