Upon entering the resort, check in went fine. But I was in need of ice because I had been in a car accident 2 days prior. I asked an employee where I could find an ice machine and he said it could be quite a walk. He was a Perkins employee, and offered to get me ice from there instead. JavaOne was wonderful with assisting when he didn't have to, very attentive to guest needs, and it was so appreciated. Michelle, the manager came out to see how I was doing, and I complimented Navones guest care. I asked if I could break a 20.00 to tip Navone. Normally this isn't allowed, but after Michelle understood I had been in a car accident while vacationing for our 30th wedding anniversary, and just how much I appreciated the assistants, she allowed it. And Michelle complimented ME for being an appreciative person.. Pro staff all the way around!! The company is lucky to have them!!! I was lucky to have them around for certain.. Thanks again Navone!! The ice really helped soothe some terribly hurting...

This place needs to go or find new management. They wouldn’t allow our 85 year old mother to sit down at a table (in an empty restaurant) because our whole party wasn’t there. Separately, we had a party of 7 and the restaurant was again COMPLETELY empty and we ended up having to sit at separate tables because they said they couldn’t move tables together or sit a chair at the end of the table, because the manager said well then they would have to clean different areas. At one point, the waitress just moved the tables together for us, and the manager came back out and made us separate them. The hostess told us she was frustrated with us because they couldn’t figure out how to sit us all together in an empty restaurant. No apologies at any point. We stay at the Breakers several times a year, and will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! We thought 1 bad experience was fine, but this has happened several times now with the same managers. I can see why it’s always empty...

This place is God awful. My wife and 2 kids ate there for breakfast. Kids ordered orange juices. They brought out 2 off brand juice boxes that looked like they were purchased at the dollar store. My daughter said thats the same brand they give her in her free school lunches. Food comes out, the sides of bacon we ordered were so tiny. Super cheap looking bacon and tiny portions for what we paid for. Ended up having to order 2 additional sides of bacon so my kids could actually get their fill. Wife’s omelet was disgusting.. avocados looked like they also came from the dollar store. My meal was okay. Whole thing cost $102 including tip. We ate dinner that night at the habachi restaurant next door. Our whole family’s high end dinners cost $150 with tip. The gap in quality between breakfast and dinner was enormous. I will give perkins credit for their muffins though. Overall, you’re better off getting breakfast at starbucks. Much better food and you’d save a...

This has to be one of the most depressing breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel has this incredible view to the lake and their decision to have their restaurant for breakfast be shoved in the darkest, most uninspiring spot in the building with NO WINDOWS TO THE AMAZING VIEW in the building is absolute insanity. Not sure I will come back till this is updated. Also… way too much money for such a lousy experience. Took way too long to get basic eggs and bacon… Put the restaurant at the back windows FACING THE LAKE and let it be a buffet SO WE CAN SIT OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE DAMN VIEW.

They play wait games so be ready. I stayed at the hotel breakers and called down from the room asking about a wait. No wait and no call ahead seating -“should be able to get you in right away”. Walk down to an empty restaurant- with a 15 minute wait at 7:30am. Edit- they lied it was 30 minutes.

Nice atmosphere. Mediocre food. Ordered eggs Benedict. They were badly overcooked. Server disappeared and when he finally reappeared, he said he was sorry. I agree. 😕
